Impressive quality and value
I’m impressed with this toolset. I own another kit from a homedepot brand and in comparison the build quality of this set is much higher, another observation is this set is heavier in weight than sets of similar number of pieces. The finish on the pieces is beautiful. There are a massive amount of options in SAE and metrics wrenches and sockets in a convenient layout. The case is very sturdy.Just finished a small project using the wrenches and drivers and the tools do exactly what I’d expect them to do. Looking forward to getting more things done with this kit.

Very good quality ratchets; really convenient having ratcheting wrenches in kit
The 303pc version of this socket set includes everything I typically need for backyard repairs; having wrenches with ratcheting ends is a huge improvement over my previous ratchet & socket only set. The tools themselves feel more refined and well-built than my Stanley sets.Having two driver handles (one dedicated for bits, the other for ¼” sockets) is much more convenient than a single handle and having to use an adapter for the bits. Allen keys in the set will also come in handy.The case does a good job making individual items removable; this means that the pieces don’t fit in quite as tightly as on my Stanley kits. As a result, almost every piece fell out when I first opened the kit. After properly securing everything in place, there is no movement when carrying the case around. Annoyingly, the mini wrenches come in a bag which sits below the ratchet handles; a proper plastic pocket would be much better.My only other complaints are related to size markings – markings on the sides of the sockets are difficult to read in normal lighting conditions and almost impossible in the dark – darker labels printed on the sockets would make a big improvement. Similarly, markings on the case are black (the same colour as the case) and slightly offset from the sockets, making finding a known size of socket a little more difficult than it would otherwise be.Although this set is a little more expensive than sale-priced Stanly ~170pc sets, I think it is worth the extra money for the convenience of having ratcheting wrenches, Allen keys, a dedicated bit driver handle, and nicer ratchets.

High quality tool kit, ratchet wrenches work great and smooth!
Have been using this tool kit over the past month or so and couldn’t be happier. I’ve been a long time owner of craftsman tools and I can say these starwork tools are just as good, if not better in some instances. The ratchet wrenches operate smoothly and everything is color coded to separate SAE vs Metric. The deep well sockets really snap into place in the case which is a big deal as other tool sets I’ve used everything falls out of place. It also comes with both spark plug sizes! The ratchets work smoothly as well. The allen wrenches seem sturdy and don’t strip. The sockets are also laser etched. Really impressed with this kit, quality, and craftsmanship.

Mechanic’s Bonanza – Time to Ratchet it Up – Great Tool Set!
You’re getting a lot of “bang for your buck” as they say, with this 303-piece mechanic’s tool set, however it is not just for the garage or mechanic but also the DIY home improvement guy or gal. I love the ratchet tools and wrenches in this set. They are lightweight and decent quality and can handle almost any job. I was already Mr. Fix-it over the weekend and worked on some tight spots and loose bolts that were hard to get to or stubborn to get off.Nice assortment of sockets and Allen wrenches in all sizes. Competitive with sets you would buy in big box stores.The plastic case is sturdy and clamps tight and securely.Exactly what I was looking for and highly recommend.

Strong Sturdy Toolkit
A lot of the basic tool-kits are just lightweight tools that can not be used for tough jobs. This tool-kit has a full assortment of strong tools! The tools are a lot heavier and sturdier than most. I had some older tool sets that were easily bent and stripped when working on machinery around the farm. I expect these will hold up much better.This tool-kit might be overkill for light duty house-hold bolt and screw turning. But if you need sturdy tools, this is the tool-kit you want.

The tools are great and good quality and weight. The smaller sockets don’t stay in place during transport. This is a problem with a lot of cases. Was surprised by the quality figured would be lightweight cheap tools but so far, I am impressed.

Really nice tool set
I’ve only been able to use this a bit so far, but I really like this set. Tools look like they are good quality. And seem to be pretty durable. I also really like the ratchet wrenches.I am just a home owner who needed some tools, I am not using this for any type of industrial work. Also these could fall apart down the line for all I know, but these are my initial impressions

Wow. This kit has some serious tools.I’m a tool guy. I know my tools. High quality tools for the DIYers
This tool set is heavy. Got 3 sets of ratchets, various wrenches, allen wrenches, etc. It’s more than what you will ever need for normal household work but probably will miss the one thing you really need, like the 6 point 1,1/16 inch socket for water heater anode. Oh well, can’t blame them. It’s a really weird size socket.For those who works on cars and construction projects, this box of wrenches might be the gift they are looking for.It’s really heavy. Can be used for exercise too.

The tool set is great. But mine didn’t come with a 1/4” drive 9/16 socket and instead they included a duplicate 7/16 socket… Lacking Quality Control wish the seller would just send me a replacement socket to complete the kit because I don’t have time to send it back I just have to use it

Amazing quality
I just received this item for Christmas, I had seen it on a YouTube video a few months back and told my significant other it seemed nice so she got it for me. As someone who’s been given a lot of tools for Christmas this set is fantastic, just holding everything in your hand you can tell it’s good quality, the ratchets are very precise and all the wrenches are ratcheting as well. Just the wrenches alone would be 200 dollars in other tool sets. Crazy value.

I have decided to start over with my collection of misfitted and multiples of different branded tools by placing an order for STARWORK 303 Piece Mechanics Professional SAE Metric Tool Set. Impressive on the go set
It’s a heavy case to carry but there’s a reason for that, a very good high quantity set. I’m impressed with the ratcheting wrenches! The ratchets feel of a fair quality. The ratcheting wrenches and deep sockets are color coded for SAE from metric. Comes with extensions for each ratchet. A very good quantity of sockets with almost every size between the smallest and largest size that the kit has. Sometimes they like skip some of the less common sizes and that drives me crazy. This kit has a very good selection of those less often used sizes. Good large quantity of Allen wrenches. A very large amount of bits for your hand drivers, and this kit has both hand held drivers in male and female 1/4″ drive setups which I really like. I thought I was missing one of those many bits but it had just fallen through to a slot below them and in turn I found a spare 1/4″ hex drive bit hiding in the kit. So there is also a decent selection of those that are designed to fit an impact drills collar as well but there isn’t anything that says those are impact rated but they do look like their material is the same as other impact rated hex drive bits I’ve used. All in all this is a very high volume tool kit for it’s size! I am very pleased with it and I really like the ratcheting wrenches!

weak ratchet wrenches
1/4 inch ratchet broke first time using sadly along with the 13 mm ratcheting wrench while putting a ford door on the mechanism failed. so….. not a horrible tool kit but very skep on the ratcheting wrenches sadly

Outstanding Tool Set — So Far!
I needed a portable tool set to keep in my car for repair emergencies during trips and for all-around use when away from home. Not since I purchased my home Sears Craftsman tool sets many years ago have I seen anything with such similar build quality. This set looks outstanding, with excellent craftsmanship and chrome plating. It beats the Husky tools I’ve purchased from Home Depot hands down. The range of tools, bits, and sockets are sufficient for just about any household or shop work. My only cause for concern so far is that one of the Phillips screwdriver bits chipped right off while screwing in a stainless steel bolt — a much softer metal than the driver bit should have been made of (see photo). I’ll continue to use these tools and update my review if the test of time warrants it. But so far, these tools otherwise look and perform fantastic.TIP: ONLY open this toolkit with the “Starworks” lid facing up and the name visible. The sockets will not all stay in place if you open this upside down. Trust me, pay attention to this or you’ll be sorry!TIP: The foam sheet in the toolkit helps keep the smaller sockets from coming loose when carrying the case. I knew the foam would not hold up for long in a hot car trunk, so I cut a cardboard insert for that purpose which works great (see photo).TIP: This is a great screwdriver and socket set, but not complete if you are looking for an all-around road kit like I was. You’ll also want to add a small toolbox with: Hammer, pliers, needle-nose pliers, wire cutters, utility knife, measuring tape, and maybe a small jeweler’s screwdriver set.The bottom line is that this has been an outstanding tool set so far. Time will tell if the quality is as good as it looks.

This is my first complete socket set I’ve owned. I normally used to purchase the common socket ina small pack but tend to displace them often. I often come across different vague sizes and I do not have the proper size for it. This set has everything. I love that the sockets have their individual spot in the case and do not move. I did have trouble with the Allen wrench sets as they had a hard time staying put in their respective places and kept popping out. The case is heavy and it is big. All the tools and sockets are durable and made with chrome vanadium steel. The chrome is rust resistant and does not corrode. I like the different sized ratcheting wrenches. They give a nice satisfying click and work well. The socket sizes are etched on the sockets themselves and also on the molded case. This is easy to help you pick and find the needed socket as well as to put them back. This kit is worth its value and it has served me well so far.

Not Pro But Impressive Quality & Value – Solid 4.5/5
Overall impressed with this tool set case – it’s largely a socket set with some additional tools added, including some ratcheting wrenches, micro wrenches, pliers, allen/hex keys, and screwdriver and bits. I own several similar sets, and have to say that I’m Impressed with the quality and finish which appear more than commensurate with the price and comparable to some prosumer name brand sets. The fit and finish of the chrome vanadium sockets is excellent, and the ratchets are of reasonable quality – the ratchet pawl feels a looser than I’d expect from a high end pro grade ratchet, but completely inline with what I’d expect from a typical consumer grade ratchet. The same can be said for the ratcheting wrenches, and isn’t really a criticism, just noting that they’re not pro grade imo. Returning to the ratchets, I confirmed all three have 90 teeth on the gear, which allows for a smaller arch swing (4 degrees) in tighter spaces, than the older standard 84 tooth ratchet. They also have a quick release button. The quality of most of the other pieces are good, but the fit and finish on the pliers is a bit unfinished/sharp – as in the edges of the metal parts of the tool are sharper than I like, and could cause injury if used haphazardly, but can be easily fixed by gently running a file over it. Minor quibble, but a notable difference between these and prograde or even good consumer grade pliers. However, it’s not unexpected for tools that come in a kit in this price range, so I wouldn’t let it adversely affect your decision, and they’re better quality than you’d get in many other similarly priced kits.As a socket set, it has everything you’d reasonably expect, including a nice selection of deep sockets, but it’s missing a couple of the larger sockets sizes like 15/16 or 1” – it only goes up to 7/8″ and 22mm but that should be more than sufficient for the vast majority of users. The inclusion of three pliers, micro wrenches, and ratcheting wrenches are also a welcome addition, and really help in those tight spaces, and with the inclusion of the screwdriver and bits, makes for a fairly well rounded socket tool set.The case with these kits is arguably just as important as the tools they hold. Fortunately, this set comes with a nice solid blow molded case where all the pieces clip/lock into place. After shipping, only six pieces were slightly out of place – three wrenches, and three sockets, but they remained in their respective places by the included foam divider. Ensure you do not throw the foam away, as it’s needed to ensure everything stays in their spot should it pop out of its place – this is typical for such cases, but some people make the mistake of not keeping the divider. The case also has four good bi-hindge latches, which lock solid, and a large easy grip handle. No major criticisms, but I note that the case only has two small exposed hinges – optimally, given the size and weight of the case, I’d prefer if these hinges were larger or if there were three or four. The hinges are exposed, so I’d recommend being careful in transit or storing to ensure they don’t get damaged given the weight of the case .Final Thought: Overall impressed and good value, as compared to other similar sets including those markets by prosumer big brands. Not professional quality, but no issues fully recommending for DIY prosumers or pro’s on a budget.

Heavy Duty great quality tool box
This is a great tool kit for jobs around the house and life. The price is a little bit higher than other tool kits, but the quality is the best that I’ve ever used. The variety size of sockets and hex keys would handle everything I needed for the housework. The sizes are written clearly on the sockets so I would know which one to use. The wrenches are very easy and comfortable to use. The best part is the heavy duty toolbox; everything fits in perfectly and there are four clip locks around the box to make everything stable and secured. I am so glad to have this organized top quality tool box and I would highly recommend it to others. The only thing that you would need to buy separately beside this tool kit is a good hammer 🙂 .

Very impressed! Super high quality set!
This set is amazingly high quality. First off the case is super strong and has four latches to keep it close. Each tool and socket if very well secured in the case, no worries about anything falling out. If you’re a person that does your own work in a home garage then this set is ideal. The wrenches and ratchets are very nice. Sockets are labelled and easy to read. The pliers are a little less quality but that’s the only items like that. Everything else is perfect. I am hoping these tools stand the test of time and I have no issues. I’m super happy with this kit and it’s the best quality set I’ve used.

Great mobile kit.
Really nice mobile tool kit. A ton of metric/sae sockets and wrenches. Case is a bit on the heavier side thanks to all the tools but still plenty portable to lug around to the junkyard or on the road. A good balance between weight and still having enough tools to get most jobs done. Case has top and side latches to prevent accidental openings. During shipping only 4 sockets were knocked loose of it’s carrying spot. During normal travel everything seems to stay in place. 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 ratchets with extensions. It has 6 and 12 pt sockets. Short and long sockets. Ratcheting wrenches are a huge plus. Lately I’ve seen local box kits pop up that are cheaper but they only have half the wrenches and no ratcheting wrenches. Sockets are color coded so you can tell at a glance what side you’re looking at.There are a few cons. The first is some size skipping. The ratcheting wrenches skip 7, 9 and 11. However they do have a smaller set of non ratcheting wrenches that do carry these skipped sizes. Some of the ratcheting wrenches are on the shorter size (i.e the 10mm) but I understand the compromise for weight and size savings. Same with sockets some sizes are skipped in some categories i.e. 11mm long socket skipped for 3/8 ratchet but included for 1/4 ratchet. You also have 11mm short socket on both 1/4 and 3/8 for 6pt sockets and in 12pt socket for 3/8 ratchet. Basically if it’s skipped somewhere it’s likely included in a different set in the kit. While no kit will include every tool you need this has sockets/wrenches/allen keys and random bits pretty well covered.The only other issue I see is the etching on the sizes for the sockets. I prefer stamped size markings specially on chrome sockets. Luckily the sizes are also on the blow molded case. I find myself looking at the sizes on the case more often than the the sockets themselves. If you’re someone who is planning on not using the case the marking are not the easiest to spot. All in all for the size of the kit and considering it comes with a decent amount of ratcheting wrenches it’s well priced.

Nice heavy duty ratchet set
The thing I like most about this product is the weight of it. The minute you pick it up, it feels very heavy duty. Now, time and time again, you find a need or a “I wish I had” for a ratchet set. This ratchet set feels like it’ll last a lifetime for most people. I definitely recommend

Has about everything you need in it
Husband said he liked that had metric and standard sets with it and it had 3 ratchet wrenches with it. He said it also comes with extensions, but did not come with 1/2 inch extension. Case is very nice and durable and keeps everything in its place. The locks on the side and front seem very tough.

Heavy duty and pretty complete
Pretty much everything you need is in there for most automotive and motorcycle work. I found myself using the allen wrenches immediately after I got it in for a project on my espresso machine. Both SAE and metric are included. The whole kit is heavy so not really a good choice if you want something to carry on your bicycle for emergencies. 🙂

Big, Big Set
This is the largest mechanics tool set I’ve tested. The only weak point in my opinion has gotta be the allen/hex wrenches. They’re short, not ball end, and just not great. They also fall out of the plastic case. But the sockets are really nice, full range in terms of sizes, and both standard and metric. Great box wrenches too.A big heavy set. The case bugs me with those hex wrenches always falling out but the rest is awesome.

Top Notch Quality
When I brought the Amazon box in, I thought, “I don’t remember ordering a boat anchor.” For the life of my I couldn’t think of anything I had ordered that would weigh this much. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was this Starworks tool set.The quality of the tools is very impressive and that includes the finish. The storage box is also very nice with one minor flaw. The Hex Key sets are stored in the lid, and they just will not stay in their slots when the lid is closed. I ended up attaching a small piece of Velcro in both of the slots and to the back of the two Hex Key set holders… worked like a charm.This kit contains almost all of the common sizes and types of tools you will probably need. There are a few skipped sizes, but those skipped sizes are typically included in other sections of the kit. This is a great addition to my workshop, and I know I’ll start using this instead of dragging out multiple tool sets to cover everything I’ll need.If you’ve priced out higher quality tools, you can spend many times what this kit cost to assemble the same quantity of tools. Highly recommend.

The Guys Are All NUTS About This Set
I got this for a Christmas present for my husband who is impossible to surprise. He found this package on the porch and continued to ask why it was so heavy until I finally had him open it and save it until Christmas.CASEThe case is very heavy duty. They really liked the assortment and quality of tools which enables them to work on metric and the regular sized bolts, etc. The mechanics were saying that the quality is up there with professional stuff they work with in some cases.HEAVYThis is a very heavy set, so if you plan to carry it with you, be sure to have a place to store it where you won’t have to lug it around everywhere unless on a big job.THE BOTTOM LINEThis set of tools impressed all of the guys at our house at Christmas. High Quality Tool Set
I hope my opinion carries some weight here. This tool set is impressive. I can’t exactly explain how I can tell, other than the fact that I know my tools pretty well and used to work for Sears exchanging the lifetime warranty Craftsman items. Over time, I got to see the difference in the off-brand vs higher end products. These have the feel of something better. The weight of the wrenches feel heavier. I’ve known the lighter tools to be more likely to break under great pressure.These tools seem to made with high standards of all the top brands. Bonus points that the organizing box holds them without slip. Everything locks into place. I can’t tell you how many sets I’ve opened and bits or sockets fall all over the place. These are secured well enough to prevent that, but easy to remove when needed. If you lose one of these, that’s user error in my opinion.

Has about everything you need to work on your vehicles. My boyfriend really likes the set. Its nice to have a good selection and not having to look for a metrics or anything. Well worth the purchase. Price point is good.

The quality kind of matches the price
I was using a Halfords Advanced Professional, and slowly started to lose some of the smaller sockets so looked for another set which included a good selection of smaller A/F imperial sockets. Which this of course has. Most if not all the sockets within are 6 sided, and I would have preferred 12 pointed. The ratchets are ok, but by no means great by which there’s a lot of play, quite loose and definitely lean towards overly shiny rather than high quality. Likewise for the ratchet spanners and other components. On the plus side it is a comprehensive set, and if any parts or lost at this price it’s nothing really to worry about.

New home set , great quality
This set is beyond what I expected, strong case to hold all the set . Each tool is well secured. You don’t have to worry that everything will be mixed together.ideal for home or work. Wasn’t expecting much quality since it’s not a big brand but I was very surprised with the quality of the metal I hope to keep them for a long run , perfect gift for your husband dad uncle whoever is into tools . Very worth it for the price , would highly recommend it.

One set for any new home owner
I moved into my apartment years ago, and I always had to borrow tools. This tool kit is more than enough for a new home owner, with most of the common tools avaliable in this kit. Not much to complain about, especially comparing it to kits found at big box stores, however, I do have some minor concerns, taking one star off.They minor but something to consider when purchasing this compared to big box stores, some of which may offer exchange/return and lifetime warranty with proof of purchase. They are:Case is really cheap plastic. Over time, the locking tabs and the hinges may break, especially due to constant usage and temperature changes.The grips of some of the tools are really cheaply made, its grippy but not as good as proper rubber/silicon grips.Fit and finish for metal pieces seem lacking, brand new set already has some scuffs and scratches on the shinier pieces. Not a big deal but quality assurance might be lacking.Overall, this set is good enough as an entry level kit.

Very complete set
My husband was very impressed with this tool kit. From now on he will have all possible sizes of sockets. He already had a set but it happened that a size of sockets was missing. The tools are made of solid steel and have a polished chrome finish. It is a very high quality set and it will be very useful for any house or mechanical work.

I am pleasantly surprised with this tool set. It arrived the day after I ordered it. The box is quite heavy which I was expecting.The tool case is solid and has 4 clips to secure it closed. Once opened there was a thin piece of padding that kept the side separated but I think that was just for packaging purposes.This set includes an array of sockets. I would list them but there are so many, I took a picture of the box for reference. There are but drivers, mini wrenches, hex keys, pliers and bits.I have never heard of the brand STARWORK before but it seems to be a very good quality. this is a great set to have at home or keep in your trunk. I’m very happy I ordered this. I love having a complete set in my garage.I highly recommend this 260 pc tool set.

The tool set is huge and heavy. It has 4 locks to close it. Two in front and one on each side. It won’t open as easily. It has a small hole to place a small padlock. I would have liked that hole to be bigger.Making the decision is difficult. Although I would have preferred to take the one with 303 tools at first. The 260-piece does not come with the more commonly used rache keys. Only the largest and not so frequent to use.It is separated by imperial and metric and by color to avoid confusion, apart from the smaller keys it also comes with this set. 5/32 and number 4 wrench wow! hard to find.The toolkit is well identified. They leave no room for guessing which tool to use.The best gift a man can receive. I loved everything it brought. They are made of good material. It’s a really good tool set
