Camping in style
This is a pretty nice stove/oven combo. It allows you to cook up items the family is more use to, which helps those getting introduced to camping. Chicken nuggets and fries are in the oven! Of course when camping sometimes near anything tastes good 🙂 Also, The refillable propane tanks they sell are pretty nice to have especially when the one use green cans are trying to be banned.

Camp Chef Alternative – worth it!
Been using a Camp Chef stove/oven for over 4 years. Finally took a dump. Purchased another camp chef that was the professional one with a bit more space and higher BTUs. Out of the box, it was junk. Customer service kept trying to make us replace parts to fix it therefore breaking the warranty. Long story short, we found this as an alternative. On first review, out of the box it has a few cosmetic flaws but nothing that would keep it from functioning. The stove BTUs are higher and hold a flame better in the wind. The oven seems like it’s on steroids compared to the camp chef. I had issues keeping the camp chef stove lit in the wind. This is not the case with the Flame King. It’s a bit tricky to learn the adjustment for the stove temperature but once you do, this handles like a champ.PROS: Better BTUs than previous camp chef Sturdy and better built oven compartment especially in the wind Comparable price to other competitorsCONS: Oven space is a bit smaller so need to take that into consideration when wanting to do some outdoor cooking for a large group Petty but I don’t care for the bright green top The temperature gauge that is included gets in the way of cooking a full size dish so you are constantly fighting with that.Overall, I would recommend the flame king over the camp chef. If you are on the fence, go with flame king. You’ll be happy you did.

IT ARRIVED DAMAGED AND DOESN’T WORK!
The media could not be loaded.
It arrived in a damaged box. The stove does not light. The unit has dents and the door misaligned because of some blunt force trauma. Need to return.

Just as described
For the cost, you won’t find a better portable stove/oven combo.Works well, and does all it claims it will.Perfect for 2-4 people in my opinion, of course you could cook double-batches of food if feeding a larger crowd, it would just take longer. This stove combo is great for couples traveling/living in an RV, as it has everything you need to cook and prepare meals.Great value for the price, and highly recommended!

Fantastic little stove/oven!
Hefty Little OvenVery Nice Fit and FinishI hooked up a 1 lb propane bottle and it fired right up. Provides very good heat on both cooktop and oven.Perfect for car camping, hunting camp, RV’ing, man cave…anywhere you need a portable stove top and/or oven. Get a 1 lb propane bottle refill adapter so you can refill your small bottles directly from a larger 20 lb tank, or just get an adapter to plug a 20 lb tank right in and you’re all set.I am very pleased with this Flame King Stove/Oven Combo!

A Must-Have in Areas Prone to Power Outages
One of the problems about living in the Gulf South is having to deal with hurricane season every year. Not just the damage caused by wind, rain, and flooding. But the headache of not having electricity for weeks at a time, once the power lines go down (and they always do). So this particular Flame King comes in very handy.Basically you can achieve the same level of heat as your standard kitchen oven, and the same BTUs as any gas stove. So as long as you have propane available, you have the ability to easily prepare meals. We’ve tested it out with a smaller propane tank, as well as an adapter we already had for the larger tank. And so far, it’s performing well. The only reason that I took one star away from the rating relates to the price of the product. At the time that I’m writing this review, the model YSNHT-300 will set you back $326. And here’s the problem. It’s just shy of double the price of of a Hike King brand propane/oven combo. But the Hike King that we’ve used before, the range gets hotter. The oven gets slightly hotter. This model is slightly larger than the Hike King that we used. So you do benefit from a slightly larger cooking area. But it also weighs almost ten pounds more than the Hike King. Which is okay if you’re occasionally removing it from your RV, or cooking in your yard. But less practical if you’re camping, and someone has to lug it around. So I haven’t quite figured out what it is about the Flame King that justifies the price difference, so far. It’s a great product, but you can get similar results for about $150 less, is all. We’re happy to own it. It’s going to be invaluable the next time we have to deal with a power outage. Or as a supplement to using my gravity-fed pellet smoker, when grilling. I’m just still working out why the introductory price is that much higher than Hike King’s propane stove/oven combos (aside from the fact that the Flame King seems a bit more sturdy).

This is EXACT same as Camp Chef product
A very poorly designed piece of Chinese Mfgr product. EXACT SAME AS CAMP CHEF UNIT, JUST MARKETED UNDER DIFFERENT NAME. ALL SIZING, SPECS EXACTLY THE SAME. TWO TIMES WITHIN SAME WEEK WE RETURNED CAMP CHEFF OVEN DUE TO DAMAGE AND MISSING PARTS WHEN WE RECEIVED.
