Light and easy to use
We were looking for a cordless vacuum for floors, and this does a great job. It seems to hold power at least 30 minutes. The light on the front is helpful. We like that it separates to become a smaller hand held with or without a wand that’s good for vacuuming the cars.

Extension pieces only work with handheld
Good lightweight vacuum but you can only use the extension pieces with the handheld. I was hoping to use this to reach using the full length of the vacuum.

I should have gotten this long ago
This is my first cordless stick vac. I already have a good quality Riccar upright vacuum with a long hose and a bunch of attachments, and also a Bissell Crosswave wet/dry vacuum. They are both great and I will keep using them, but I needed something cordless for quick cleanup of cat litter, dust bunnies, and spilled food on my hard floors. I tried a dust-buster hand held vac, but that was not very effective or convenient for cleaning a whole floor.I looked at lots of cordless stick vacs and narrowed it down to two: this one, and one that is a typical wall-mount style. I ultimately chose this one because it was listed as being 24V (more powerful than the others), and because the weight distribution would be more like a traditional vacuum.Overview:Out of the box, the individual pieces felt weighty, but once assembled it did not feel heavy at all. It was easy to snap together and had enough battery life to test it out for a few minutes before it needed to be charged. I did notice that while the user manual says 24V, the label on the actual vacuum says 21.6V, which is disappointing since this was a deciding factor in my purchase. The vac itself looks and feels solid and good quality. The charging base and attachments are lightweight, cheap plastic in comparison. On to the list of pros and cons…Pros:*It is sleek and attractive*Easy to swivel/maneuver around objects and glides across the floor nicely*The handle is easy and comfortable to hold*The on/off switch is conveniently located on the handle*The light on the front is very helpful*Nice weight distribution (feels like a mini upright vacuum instead of like a leaf blower)*Makes quick work of cleaning up messes on hard floors (on high speed)*Enough power and battery life to clean up hard floors in several rooms*Picks up dirt all the way to the baseboards*Picks up cat hair on the surface of a high pile rug*Hand held vac is relatively easy to snap in and out of the stick and works well on its own*Dust cup is a good size and has washable filtersCons:*Falsely advertised as 24V*Has 2 speeds, but low speed is useless and a waste of time*Can’t lift it off the charging base without first holding down the charging base with my foot*The attachments are difficult to fit into the hand vac and awkward to store on the stand. They also get in the way when you lift the vac off the charging base.*Takes up floor space when stored/charging*Emptying the dust cup can be messy if you’re not careful. The photo of the mess on the floor is what poured out of the hand vac nozzle while I was trying to figure out how to detach the dust cup to empty it for the first time.In spite of the list of cons, I’m really excited about having this stick vac, and I can see myself using it several times per week. I love being barefoot at home, but hate the feel of walking on dirty floors. Will update as needed after owning it for a while.

Look no further!
Read the product description carefully. It’s not made for cleaning mansions or horse stalls. But for a small homes apartments it is amazing! Lightweight easy to assemble, easy to charge and store. And it has excellent I repeat excellent suction. It gets everything. I like the swivel head and the smaller head for tight spaces. Converts to a hand vac easily by pushing two buttons and easily reinstalls. Love this thing

LIGHTWEIGHT AMAZING!
I am so amazingly happy with this product. It works really good, does the job!! And most importantly for me, it is lightweight. It’s small and works great on small areas such as area rugs. I have 3 medium size area rugs and it works wonderfully. I dont know how good it would do on bigger carpet or rugs.

I love this cordless vacuum cleaner. I gave it 4 stars on suction and deep cleaning simply because it is a portable, but it does a really good job. It is perfect for my camper!

Great cleaner upper!!
This has to be the best small vacuum I’ve owned. The others I’ve bought can’t compare to the suction. I’ve owned several. Great for dog hair. The two speeds are helpful and the light. Also easy to clean the filter. Don’t hesitate to buy!

Excellent buy
Very easy to use; looks sleek. Slides under the cabinets to pick up dirt. Also the light at the end is an awesome feature as we can see under the cabinets to pick up the dirt. Excellent buy for its price.

Does exactly what I wanted
After lots of searching and reading reviews, I bought this vacuum specifically for cleaning up cat litter granules and cat hair. It works like a charm. I’m surprised at the amount of suction it has. I will use it multiple times a day to clean up litter tracked out of the litter box by the cats. I also love it for picking up my hair off the bathroom tile floor. My husband loves using the handheld unit and special brushes to clean the felt on his pool table. There’s all kinds of uses we’re discovering for this thing. The handy charging station stand is a plus too! Love that it comes with two filters so when you take it out to clean it, you have a spare filter to use while the other is drying. One of the best little “small job” vacuums I’ve ever purchased.

Told my boyfriend if I disappear, I’ve run away with this vacuum cleaner
This vacuum is soooo well designed, has excellent cleaning power and overall, it’s absolutely amazing. I have disabilities and have been vacuuming my small house by leaning over from my chair and using a hand vac. Well, this vacuum has changed everything! It’s extremely lightweight — I can practically carry it on one finger, even with the attached hand vac. This is very important if you have disabilities, weak hands, or arthritis. Despite that, it doesn’t feel cheaply made, and has a small footprint considering its cleaning ability.Even on low, which is a very quiet setting, the edge cleaning and overall cleaning of this thing is incredible! The vacuum head glides easily on my hardwood floors and has an almost snake like movement that gets into every nook and cranny. It gets every bit of dust, dirt, coffee grounds, crumbs, wrappers, dog hair and even tries to suck up screws! And the light really helps you see what you’re about to vacuum up, and see where the dirt is. Easily rolled from my hardwoods onto my low pile and washable rugs and then back again. The battery power is excellent: I vacuumed three full rooms of my 1200 square-foot house on one charge, with power left over to detach the hand vac (featherlight!) to reach some out-of-the-way spaces. It’s so easy to put together and break apart, from emptying the dirt cup, taking the beater bar out to clean off dog hair, to removing and cleaning the filter. It charges fast and stands up on its own.Honestly, I just got this appliance and I already have a massive love affair with it: if it conked out in less than a year, I would very likely just buy another one.

Review from an Avid Vacuumer!
UPDATE: I think I failed to mention how great having a bright light on this vacuum is! I can see the hair/dirt and make sure I’m not missing anything. I’ve had this about 2 months now and use it almost daily. The hair DOES tend to wrap around the filter, but because I clean/rinse out the filter every other day it’s all good. (I’m sure it wouldn’t work as well if I wasn’t doing that.) But I really like the vacuum and even bought a back up one during the Prime Sale just in case this one dies down the road. This has actually become the main vacuum in my house now. Keep in mind cordless vacuums will NOT work very well on thick carpet, but are excellent for hardwood as long as you clean the filter often and empty the canister. This is a great purchase.ORIGINAL: I know I know, get a life already! BUT we live in the middle of DIRT on 12 acres AND have a dog that sheds short wirey white hair nonstop on our pine-colored laminate floor- I see dirt & hair EVERYWHERE & it drives me crazy. I started exclusively using a cordless, battery operated vacuum that makes my life so much easier & works well- it’s an older (6-7 years old?) Hoover with two batteries I alternate charging so I never have to wait in case the battery that’s being used dies. I never used it in our old house because it just wasn’t strong enough to use on carpet- so it was “new” when I began using it in our carpet-less house when we moved 2 years ago. Lately both batteries act a little sluggish & before I buy the new upgraded cordless model from Hoover I decided to find something less expensive I can use in the meantime (I need a SALE from Hoover ASAP!). After comparing a ton of makes/models I decided to go with this little white Kenmore mainly because it has the highest volts (24), stands on its own & the price was reasonable. When I first opened the box I’ll admit I thought I’d return it immediately- it’s so small it looks like a toy. But after using it almost 2 weeks every other day I can tell you it’s definitely a pretty serious little vacuum. The head is small which REALLY helps getting into tight corners & underneath tables & beds- I’ve been able to capture more dustbunnies easily. The flip side is the fact that YES, it does take more passes to vacuum a room, but our house is fairly small & I’m willing to deal with the trade off. It is also a pretty short vacuum- it would be nicer if it was 6 inches longer/taller but that isn’t a deal-breaker either. I do love that I’ve easily vacuumed the entire house without the battery dying or even losing power, & the fact that I can take it apart to use as a dustbuster is super convenient- I use it to clean window sills, furniture, etc. The dustbin is small & I have to empty it every other time I use it, but I don’t mind- it’s easy to do standing over the trashcan & it doesn’t have the chance to hold a ton of dusty dirt that blows everywhere when emptying. The accordian style paper filter is easy to clean- I didn’t soak it with water but I did knock off the dirt using the sprayer head in my kitchen sink which made it like new again. I let the filter air dry for a day- while it was drying out I just popped in the extra filter that the vacuum came with (thankfully!). I did buy two additional filters to use in the future just in case they are needed. This vacuum doesn’t take up a lot of space either- I keep it in the docking station that’s plugged into our bedroom. It’s out of the way & I typically start vacuuming our bedroom/bathroom first anyway. I’m glad I went with this one- I fell down the bunny hole of looking at a million other ones on Amazon comparing descriptions, specs, reviews, etc. I do think this one has plenty of power- all the hair & dirt comes up mostly just using the LOW setting, but it’s great having that HIGH setting to go over mats & the few very small area rugs I have. The brush roller runs constantly but it doesn’t spit dirt out of the back so that’s fine too. For as much time I put in cleaning my floor & for as important it is to me to have clean floors, this was definitely money well spent- I’ll run this vacuum a lot & enjoy the results.

Lightweight and coinvent to use.
The size and style as well as the features make this a good choice for everyday use. The vacuum head is 10 inches wide and will easily fit into smaller spaces that larger heads will not fit. The detachable hand vacuum is very coinvent and powerful as well as being used as a carry handle for the entire vacuum which is very lightweight. The built in blade that cuts hair and items wrapped around the roller works very well. I love this feature. With previous owned it would have to remove the roller and cut hair off with scissors. This is handy for people with long hair that has fallen onto the floor. Additional attachments are nice addition and easily accessible in the storage base provided. I use it every day to vacuum our wood and ceramic floors which is easily about 700-800 square feet with the battery needing to only be charged weekly. Dust container is easily to clean, but the filter needs to the cleaned weekly or more often which is easily performed. Highly recommend this battery vacuum cleaner.

Light, maneuverable, great suction… terrible battery life.
I bought this to replace a two-year-old Hoover OnePWR (can’t recommend!), and I’m ALMOST happy with it. It gets into corners I couldn’t reach before, it lies almost flat and still sucks up the dirt (so I can reach dustbunnies waaaaay under the bed), it’s light and easy to handle on the stairs, it has great power, and the self-clearing brush is great – no more hacking away at hair or threads wrapped around the beater bar. However: a full charge (the manual says 5.5 hours; I left it overnight) only got me 2/3 of the way through the house, where the crappy Hoover’s battery finished the house with charge left over. I’ve only used it once so far, and haven’t finished vacuuming; I’ll check back later to report whether it gets better (or worse). Why didn’t they give this thing a removable battery so I could have an extra on standby? Why didn’t I think of that before I bought it? These are imponderable questions.Edit: I was using the “full power” setting at first. I still think the battery is weak, but at the first power setting it lasts a LOT longer; it mostly does the job at the lower setting and I only had to boost to full power here and there. So that’s not _so_ bad; I still think the battery should be swappable so I could have an extra standing by to finish the job (I feel that ALL rechargeable tools should have swappable batteries, but that’s a whole ‘nother conversation.)But also: this is the first vacuum I’ve ever used where the “headlights” weren’t a joke! If you’re vacuuming a hard floor (as I am), and the room is dim-to-dark, you can actually see the dust and be sure you’ve sucked it up. It’s wonderful! I may never vacuum with the lights on again! On the down side: the white LED on the handle (steady ON while the vac is running, blinks while it’s charging) is obnoxiously bright. I think I’ll put a piece of tape over it to dim it a bit.

I love this little vacuum!
I’ve been using a Kenmore canister vacuum with a bag for years, but it’s just so bulky, especially when you’re constantly getting it out to clean up after kids, dogs, etc. I was nervous the stick vacuum wouldn’t have the power or versatility that I needed, but I absolutely love it!! It has strong enough suction that can pick up dirt and debris on my rugs and low pile carpets, and I can move right over to laminate or hardwoods with no issue. The vacuum is light and easy to maneuver. The light on the front is fantastic and makes it easier to make sure I’m getting everything out from under the kitchen cabinets, furniture, etc. The attachments are great for crevices and furniture. Charge time seems quick, and I’ve had no issue sweeping my kitchen, living room, bathroom, and several bedrooms on a single charge.I think the only downside of this vacuum (and really probably any stick vacuum) is not having a bag. The cup is easy to remove and empty, but I always find dumping out the bag less container to be a little dusty and gross.Overall, a great value and I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for an easy way to keep their floor clean!

Small but Mighty
This is a first use review. My vacuum arrived yesterday and after charging overnight, I used it for the first time this morning. My opinion so far is that this a wonderful mini-vacuum cleaner. More than an electric broom, it does the job of a much larger, heavier, machine. The suction is surprisingly strong on the second setting, which I used for low pile area carpets. I alternated between first and second level power settings from floor to carpet. I have a dog that is going through spring shedding, and this little gadget did a great job. It is lightweight and maneuvers well. It has a good light. The docking port is nice because it holds the attachments and you don’t have to plug/unplug the vacuum directly. The vacuum also stands on it’s own, which is a plus. I haven’t used the handheld yet. We’ll see how this holds up over time, but just from the first use, I’m impressed. I have only one con to mention: the on/off switch is tough to move. It does not slide very easily at all and it kind of dug into my thumb, but that’s not enough to take any stars away from the rating. For right now, overall, I’m very happy with it.Update: I tried the handheld on the stairs and wow! This little thing packs a punch! I was amazed at how powerful it was…almost like a regular size vacuum cleaner.

Lightweight but powerful
I love it because it’s cordless, lightweight yet the suction is great, so far no problems with battery life, perfect for a quick go around. better than I thought. I have all tile floors and two dogs I was lugging my big vacuum out everyday to pick up the dog hair, I also tried sweeping with a broom but I much prefer using this stick vac! 10 minutes or less and I’m done. I keep it on the charger and it’s always ready to go. I also love that it can stand up by itself.

Good little vacuum so far
I have used it a lot since I got it and it works good on hard floors or indoor carpet that isn’t sculpted. The switch to turn it on and off is a little hard to use for people with arthritis. Switch is hard to turn on and off. I like the maneuverability of it and it is light weight. Battery doesn’t last very long maybe 15 minutes, but it picks up cat hair and dog hair and does a good job. The removeable hand vac is very good and easy to use. My one complaint is that it is really loud! But it does work good compared to the ones I had before. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, but wear ear plugs! Good vacuum though!

Best Stick Vac in Price Range By Far
The media could not be loaded.
Bullet point thoughts below, if you want to skip my detailed thoughts. I’m a bit of a vacuum geek and collector. I’ve been hesitant to buy a cordless vacuum because “vacuum guys” turn their noses at anything bagless and generally anything cordless. I’ve tried quite a few cordless vacs and returned them all. Most stick vacs carry their motor and battery at the top of the handle. That design is uncomfortable and hurts your wrists within seconds. Instead of pushing a vacuum, you’re holding it up in the air and then trying to push the head around. So I started looking for stick vacs that carry their weight at center mass or lower. This drastically reduces your options but they ARE out there. I was skeptical about this particular unit because I never saw it show up on a single article reviewing the best stick vacs and I’d read a lot of those. But I knew Kennmore makes a really great corded upright (Kennmore Elite) so I thought maybe they’d try to get this one right too. They did! Last night, our dog broke a potted plant on an area rug. We thought it would be stained. We picked up the large clumps but wet soil was still piled all over the rug and hardwoods. I decided to use this unit just to grab some of the bigger pieces before I got my big Riccar upright out to deep clean the carpet. I ended up not getting the Riccar out. This Kennmore not only sucked up the wet clumps of dirt but the brush roller deep cleaned the rug and easily cleaned the hardwoods without changing any setting or using any tools. Even my wife commented how impressed she was. I can’t recommend this unit enough. Like I said, I’ve tried a lot of stick vacs. Highlights below. If I have one criticism, I wish the LED lights were a bit brighter but they get the job done. The hand vac is very powerful, the machine is HEPA filtered (rare in this category) and they even supply an extra filter! The vacuum self balances which is rare and a huge selling point. There are no holes to drill. The stand sits on the floor and stays plugged into the charger. Just set the vacuum in the stand and it starts charging. All accessories are held by the stand as well. The lower power mode actually works!! Most machines have a low power mode strictly so the company can advertise longer max run times. Not this one. Low power might be all you need most of the time and it’s very quiet in that mode. The vacuum does great on hard floors, carpet, and rugs. Only stick vac I’ve tried that I can say that about. The vacuum is great for long hair because it has a unique feature that cuts hair wrapped around the brush roller. Just step on the cutting button while the unit is running and, voilà! Hair is cut!The unit is much more comfortable to use than standard stick vacs because of the lower placement of the motor and batteries. It does great on hard floors, picking up hair and small to large debris with ease. The head easily swivels into tight spaces and around corners and the edge cleaning is excellent.Final thoughts, this unit should be at the top of every article reviewing $80-200 stick vacs. I have a feeling it would outperform a lot of units 2-3x the price. I’ve recommended this unit to everyone in my family. Many said it wouldn’t be possible but this is a stick vac that won over a vacuum geek.

A little surprised by how good this is
It keeps up with my three short-haired, always-shedding dogs, gets in and out of tight areas nicely, and has better run time than any of the three previous stick vacs we’ve had here. It starts with the push of a button and stays on until the button is pushed again. It has two speeds, one of which is good for hard floors, and the other is good for low carpet. The run time seems good, and it is very lightweight. Now about those previous 3 stick vacs. One was a Dyson v6. Two were crappy knock-offs bought here on Amazon. The Dyson was great at cleaning, but had a much shorter run time and required a death grip to keep it running. It was also way too expensive for what it was, and it eventually died way too early. The other two vacs, well, all I can say is NEVER buy a brand you haven’t heard of (actually, that goes for a lot of the cheap knock off junk that is flooding into Amazon these days). They didn’t perform. The Kenmore vac seems to have all of them beat. Being better than the last two vacs doesn’t really surprise me, but I have to admit I was a little surprised that it holds its own against the Dyson at a much lower price point. This vac DOES perform. Honestly, I was starting to lose my faith in cordless stick vacs, which is a tragedy because they’re just so convenient compared to their heavy, corded cousins. On the downside, I do think this vac is kind of clumsy to empty and get reattached to the main vacuum. It doesn’t go back in its charging base without knocking all of the stored attachments off of that base. It requires frequent filter replacement, especially if you’ve got active four-footed dirt manufacturers, but they’re not terribly expensive. It doesn’t reach under furniture as far as pole-like stick vacuums because it has a bigger body. And weirdly, one of my dogs hates it more than all of the previous three combined. I think it’s chunkier design somehow makes it a much more imposing adversary. All in all, I do think this has good performance and value for the money. I would buy it again.

Good vac
Strong yet pretty quiet, especially on low, which is plenty powerfull for hardwood or linoleum. Lightweight but, more importantly, low center of gravity. All the weight is at the bottom. Reduces fatigue for long use. Swiveling head gets under baseboard heaters and furniture easily. Cleans edges and inside corners very well. I am most impressed overall with this unit. Strongly recommend. Good value.

The ability to simply separate the cleaning suction part from the “stick” part and use as a quick vacuum is great. Lightweight unit overall, handles well, crevice and cleaning tools included….. Overall I’m happy with it. 4 Months use

Light and powerful
I am so happy with this little vacuum! I’ve had it for a month now and use it every day on my hardwood floors with high traffic pet areas. It is a great supplement to the Roomba’s overall once per day clean. I love that it’s super light and can lay quite flat to reach under furniture. It’s definitely powerful enough to pick up litter, dust, fur, bits of kibble, and all that good stuff. It will clean right up to the wall. I love that the hand held piece is super easy to pop out to clean sofa, stairs, etc. And it’s so far been very easy to pop apart to dump out. It stands up on its own and stays plugged in, so it is always on hand and charged up every morning so I can do a quick cleanup in a few areas before Roomba does its thing later. My favorite aspects of it are its lightness and power. It’s making my furball mom life a lot easier.

Great machine for the price
I like how the machine works once I receive the filters. My concern is the shipping on the filter takes 14 days to arrive according to the sale associated. I did have to make two phone calls to the company because didn’t want to miss my return date for Amazon. Long story to a short story. I will be keeping the product and will tell others to buy the product.

I love it
I have all hard floors and I really like this vac. It light weight and works very well to pick up litter spills or tracks. Perfect for older people or children. I think it would deep clean but the collector is a bit fussy and likes to be emptied often. That may be because I have a cat. It’s a great little machine.

After reading reviews online (thank you), I decided to buy this one to replace an LG vacuum that cost 3 x as much and lasted less than a year.I love this! The attachments are great and I use them constantly. Makes house cleaning a lot easier. I can vacuum the whole house on a charge. The stand is handy too as it keeps the vacuum off the floor. I have rugs and hardwood and it does a great job on both. I would say to make sure that you get the vacuum in to the docket to charge as it’s easy to think it’s charging when it’s not actually attached. Also I followed the instructions and press on the pedal for a few seconds 5x to get the dust etc into the container. What I particularly like is that the vacuum will stand independently if necessary if I have to switch it off for a moment while working.Heartily recommended. Yes I wish it had a replaceable battery, as the LG had that feature but as it turns out, it fell apart before I had to replace it.

Surprised how much I love this!
I’ve purchased many sweepers and small vacs over the years and I always seem to be disappointed. Not this time though! This one is by far the best. It is powerful, it has great suction and is simple to charge and use. I typically use it on high for a quick sweep in the kitchen, but if I want to do more throughout the house, I can get a good 20-25 minutes out of it before it needs a charge. Works great on my hardwood floors and in the car. Whether using it as a full vac or a hand vac, it picks up way more than expected! Love it and highly recommend!

Works great
Nice stick vacuum. It works great on hardwood, tile and very low pile rugs. Used the handheld to clean my car and it was wonderful. I have a bad back and using this vacuum is like walking. Would definitely buy again. My only wish is that the battery snapped out and you could interchange the battery, however it lasted about 45 minutes on the high speed.

awesome little machine
Really like this little vacuum. Very handy and easy to use, light weight and has good suction. i use it on my tile in the kitchen and on my hard wood floors. Also on my big area rug. Cleans very well. I do have to clean the cup out each time but that’s no big deal, easy to disassemble and put back together. Also the small vacuum comes off easily to use for little messes or for your car. Charges quickly too,

Good deal
I was happy with this purchase. I use it for a quick cleanup between vacuuming with big sweeper or iRobot. The filter does not clean out as easy as others I have had but it has more power. I was not disappointed with this purchase. More filters can be purchased

Better suction power than my old unit
I really hated to lose my old unit that broke literally in pieces. Thought I would have to try several before I found one I liked but to my surprise I liked this one from the first. It has a couple of quirks that I don’t like.. It is a little hard to push on my area rugs (I have not carpet). And the upright function doesn’t hold very well. But the suction power is way better than my old one. I am happy with my purchase and would recommend.

Love this Vacuum Cleaner
I bought this vacuum cleaner back in January, and like it a lot.*Ligh weight, can carry up the stairs comfortably with one arm while vacuuming each step.*Good Battery life in my experience.* Cleaner head swivels, but not out of control.* Even though it’s lightweight, it has strong suction on tile flooring and carpet.I highly recommend this vacuum by Kenmore.

Works like a charm
I bought this for our 4500 sqft office space that’s mostly vinyl plank with some carpet sections. We use it for cleanups in between nightly visits from a cleaning crew that often seems to ignore the floors. It does a great job on both the carpet and fake hardwood. It’s highly maneuverable, light-weight, has great suction, and the battery lasts long enough (at least 30 minutes) for any job we do.For comparison, we have a Dyson at home, which is also great. But the Kenmore does just as good a job for less than half the price. Highly recommended.

It’s a little heavier than I anticipated
This cordless vacuum works really well and I like the way it charges on a stand and I don’t have to mount anything on the wall for charging. I do find it a little heavier than I anticipated though and that makes it a little harder to push around. I’m glad I don’t have a really large area to clean so it’s going to work fine.

Has all the bells and whistles!
I absolutely love this Kenmore sweeper! It has the attachments, charge lasts a long time and it picks up everything. Lays flat so you can get under things and swivels as well . It’s easy to dump out and clean the bottom brush where the roller is. I use a walnut litter for my kitty and it picks everything up, works great on the litter. I just absolutely love it and trust me. I’ve been through a lot of sweepers. Love the white color too.Thank you Kenmore for always delivering a great product!

This little vacuum is impressive.
I have been very impressed with the quality of this vacuum. I got it for light easy pickups during the day and did not want to pay for a Dyson. It has a lot more suction that I thought it would have for the price. I got it to use on my wood floors not on carpeting. I have used it to do light pickup on smooth rugs and it does a good job on that, too. I would definitely buy this again.

Missing charge adapter
When I received the vacuum, I was excited and found it fairly easy to assemble, that is until I got to the point where I could not find the appropriate adapter that was needed to enable charging it! I was very disappointed. After returning everything to the box, I took it to the UPS store and they processed my return. I ordered a replacement identical to this one except, hopefully, it will have the right adapter and I will be very pleased. I really like this model of the Kenmore vacuum! I’m crossing my fingers!

Best of the bunch!
We tried multiple stick vacuums in search of one that had sufficient suction, reasonable sized waste container and good battery life. Good old Kenmore hit the sweet spot. I wouldn’t say it was a vacuum for deep cleaning but it does a great job of what it was designed to do.

Great value for the price!
Lightweight, powerful vacuum! Love the attachments for use on stairs, car, and door/ window tracks. Battery charge lasts about 30 on high speed ( for low/ med pile carpet) about 45 mins on low speed( great for floors).

Convenient for sure, but the suction is lacking
I have mostly rugs and fabric couches which is why I thought I wanted a “dust-buster” style of convertible vacuum BUT I also have hairy little cats and this just doesn’t do the job. I hope I can return it for a real vacuum.

I LOVE this little vacuum!
When my previous battery operated vacuum cleaner starting giving out I immediately started my search for a new one. The old one – which I bought over 6 years ago – was no longer available. Because I have a Kenmore canister vacuum already, which has been a very good vacuum, and the positive reviews for this Kenmore battery operated one were good, I took the plunge and purchased it. I wanted to give it a few weeks of use before reviewing. I absolutely love this little vacuum cleaner! It has so much more power than the old one (which was by a different company) had and is much easier to clean, too. There is a low and high power button and lights across the front, which are both great pluses. An added feature is the internal razor which will cut hair caught in the roller when operating, and so far it’s done a great job. When running on high, you can just feel the suction power. Honestly, I don’t plan on dragging out my big canister model much anymore because this little guy does such a wonderful job!

It’s a good little cordless vacuum, HOWEVER…
I’ve only had this guy for a couple of weeks, but so far I’m able to sweep/vacuum about 1400 ft.² of hardwood and area rugs a couple times a week on one charge. I usually swiffer my floors before mopping, but this has replaced the swiffer. This vacuum is great for pet hair and dust, HOWEVER… if you have a larger mess, the vacuum will suck it up, but not all the way into the tank. It will stay in the brush until you turn the vacuum off. That’s where you’ll find your mess all over the floor once you lift the vacuum. The tank is very small and fills quickly. That’s not a big deal, I have lots of ground to cover, and between my dogs and grandchildren, there’s usually a decent mess to clean. I clean the tank and filter after each use. It’s very easy and you get an extra filter to swap after cleaning the dirty filter.Detaching from the vacuum to use handheld is great! With attachments, I can vacuum my furniture, staircase, and get into tight areas. The charging base is amazing! Keeps everything neatly stored in one convenient stand. When using this vacuum on high mode, it’s very loud. It doesn’t bother me, I’m usually listening to music when I clean anyway. In short, it’s great for my purpose, but don’t get your hopes up on cleaning large messes with this vacuum.

Best Vacuum Ever!
This is the best vacuum I have ever owned, especially for a cordless! First of all, it stands up by itself! No hanging it from the wall. No having it fall and break from trying to lean it against a wall. The suction is amazing. And having the 2 speeds makes it a breeze going from the carpet to the wood floors. The flexible vacuum head makes getting under tables and chairs a breeze! The cat and dog hair is not a problem for this machine, especially can’t hide from the headlight. When you are done, it locks in an upright position, by itself and easily sits in its recharging tray. It automatically begins recharging and stops when it is full charge, always ready for the next use. As a matter of fact, I love this vacuum so much, I bought another one to use at my office! How convenient! (Though I did drop it like a dummy and a tiny piece cracked off at the filter latch. My own fault.) I just have to be more careful when I am emptying it now. It is so much more than I anticipated. Great product.

This vacuum has actually made my life easier
I LOVE this vacuum. I have a Dyson upright, which works great on the carpeted bedrooms, but I was really struggling with an awkward combination of lots of different things (dust mop, broom, lint rollers and brushes, the unruly hose on the Dyson…) to keep other areas of my house clean. I have laminate floors in most of my house, with a large Ruggable rug, other area rugs, and upholstered furniture in a home with 3 shedding animals. This vacuum (on low suction) WORKS ON THE RUGGABLE! Ruggables are so fussy and most vacuums don’t work on them, and, while I love being able to wash it, the daily frustration of trying to keep the dog hair under control was making me crazy. No more! The conversion to a handheld makes it so easy to keep the sofa and furniture clean, and this easily gets into areas that my bigger vacuum can’t (under the couch and kitchen hutch, in between furniture). I can also take this out to the car easily instead of lugging around my large ShopVac and extension cords. I will keep my big Dyson for the carpeted rooms of my house, but I now clean everything else with this. Basically all of my awkward chores of shaking out area rugs, sweeping, dust mopping, lint-rolling things, spot vacuuming corners, untangling extension cords in my garage, etc, etc… have all been replaced by an easy sweep with this. The charging base is flimsy, but I’m going to try to attach it to a wood block. The attachments are everything you could need. I love that it comes with 2 filters, and they are washable, so you can wash one and rotate out the other while it dries–I think I could go literally years before buying replacements. The jury is out on how long the battery will last or if it can be replaced (I’ve only had it a couple of weeks). I hope I can keep it going, because I might actually cry if I ever have to say goodbye to this little vacuum.

i’m really pleased with this Kenmore 24v Stratus stick vacuum.
I don’t try to clean the whole house at once – I do a 5 to 10 minute area at a time. The bedroom, the hallway, the front door area, the crumbs, etc. Each time I dump it, I’m astonished at the dirt, hair and sand it has sucked up. I use the high power setting and after a couple of days it needs recharging which is no problem at all since it stands upright by itself.Having the heavy motor in the lower half of the unit resting on the wheels relieves the strain of having to hold up its weight while using. It’s easy to disconnect the dirt collection container. I set the hand vac across an open kitchen drawer, push the detach button, dump and reattach right there. Tuck it back in its slot on the stick and put it away. I had a bit of trouble at the beginning when it wouldn’t charge, but after disconnecting the hand vac, using it a bit and reattaching, it charged perfectly.I’m smiling!

Well Worth the Price
This is really two appliances in one: a dust-buster and stick vacuum cleaner. It does both jobs very well.We were debating between this and a cheaper model. We bought a cheaper one on sale and it did not hold up well and never did a good job.The stick vacuum has two speeds. We find the lower speed handles almost all of the cleaning jobs well. It’s nice to have the higher power in reserve. It is fairly easy to move around. The dust-buster is very powerful and came with versatile and useful attachments. I can’t comment about how well it holds a charge because we have not had it run out while we were using either the stick or the dust-buster.This was a real value for the price we paid.

Super lightweight
I go through cordless stick vacuums about once every 1-1.5 years, they just don’t seem to last much longer than that. So I try to keep them around $100 if I’m replacing them that often. I use it 2-3 times a day for quick kitchen clean ups on our hardwood floors, and the carpet in our living area also gets a quickie maybe twice a day. I use our Miele canister for any major cleaning but the cordless gets used a LOT. This is a very basic model, but I appreciate how easy it is to maneuver and that it has such a low profile that it can get in tight crevices that my previous one could not reach. It seems pretty powerful -I rarely have to go over the same line again but I’ve only had it a couple months. My main complaint is that you have to manually disassemble the dirt cup each time you empty it, whereas I’ve had other models that have more user friendly designs. However, if the suction keeps up like it does now, I would probably buy this model again next year. Sometimes simple is better!

An overall great touchup vacuum
I bought this specifically for under my bed, but it doesn’t fit. No matter because it gets so many other hard to reach places, like right up next to the baseboards. Excellent suction there from both the front and the sides of the vacuum. My full size (heavy) Bissell doesn’t even do that. The attachments are great, easy to switch and suction is superb. This vacuum is super light to carry, however, maneuverability is not smooth. Again, another small con overridden by the pros. The other “con” is unbelievable for a cordless vacuum…TOO much suction on some of my throw rugs on the HIGH setting? OK, switch it to low for a quick touch up between regular vacuuming. I would highly recommend this for everyday touch ups.

Stands up on it’s own,Good Suction, has two filters so you can wash one & use another
Kenmore DS1030 Has Good Suction & Cleaning Power one nice thing it that it stands up on it’s own & you don’t have to hang it or lean it against walls or furniture and it won’t fall & scratch up your walls or damage your vacuum, it Includes Two Filters so you can clean one & use the other while you are waiting for it to dry.we use the vacuum just about everyday the battery last about 20mins or so. it has a lot of dirt inside when i empty it so i think that’s a good thing because you know it’s working. The handheld Vac is also nice for steps or furniture & has a few different tools.it works great on hardwood floors, tile & area rugs we don’t really have much carpet so can’t really comment on that.it also has led lights on the front but i think they could be a little closer to the edge of the cleaning head so you could see the dirt better.also the base that it charges on needs more weight to it because when you lift it sometimes it lifts up with the vacuum & sometimes you have to wiggle it on the base to get it to charge.it would be nice if you could replace the battery because i know it will only last a few years before it needs replacing.we paid about $135 but it’s on sale now for $119 we owned it for about 9 months so far it’s working Great.

light weight
Love, love, love this vacuum , I have a bad back and my old handheld vacuum was 25 pounds and killed my back every time I used it. This vacuum is truly lightweight, great suction, and has lights to see what you are picking up. There is only one thing I would change about it is the lights could be a little brighter or maybe just more of them. I only wish I had found this vacuum sooner! I would definitely recommend this vacuum.

Great
Will clean entire house (2100 sq ft) in one charge. You need to wash it to keep clean, simply take the roller out by depressing and opening the black guard on right hand side, and clean top part but be careful for the hair removal blade. Can wash filter too. Keep any eye empty after every use, but great for small area non-shag carpet. Lightweight for a kid to use.
