Excellent quality with many features.
Over all the quality and features of the MX master mouse and keyboard are great. I don’t use it for gaming I am a graphic artist and love using these peripherals because I find them more comfortable to use than what Apple has to offer, even though Apples minimal design might look nice with their desktop computers. I prefer the backlit keyboard and MX masters ergonomic mouse. The wrist rest is also a nice addition to the set that Logitech has to offer.

Great keyboard and mouse combo but not as quiet
The media could not be loaded.
The Logitech MX Keys S combo is great however, it is not as quiet as I assumed it would be from the description on the Amazon site. The keyboard and mouse feels great however, the keys are not as quiet. I need the quiet keys as I take notes during meetings and the sound of the keys is distracting to the customers as it is for me.After I purchased this from Amazon, I came across the heyday keyboard and found it to be super quiet compared to the Logitech. Note: The Heyday keyboard keys are NOT as comfortable as the Logitech MX Keys S keyboard, and the heyday keyboard is also more compact then the Logitech one. Logitech is far superior in overall quality and functionality however, it is not as quiet as the cheaper product. I have attached the audio file for comparison purposes. The first 20 seconds is the sound of the Logitech keyboard. The heyday key clicks start around 24 seconds into the audio file. You can hear the difference.

Amazing Battery Life
I was concerned with this mouse being rechargeable rather than having a replaceable battery, but the battery life on this mouse is amazing. I installed the Logi Options+ app to monitor the battery and have used it every day for a month, still at 75%. Note – I turn the mouse off at the end of every workday and try not to work on the weekend.

Love it
I’ve had it for about a month now. I feel like I have medium sized hands for a woman. I always have trouble holding onto the vertical mouse but this one being at a softer angle provides the comfort without the hand pain I got gripping a vertical mouse. It’s perfect!

Working perfectly
I purchased the black model and noticed an issue when it’s connected via Bluetooth and near metal objects—the cursor begins to jump erratically. It seems like some units might be defective, as I’ve seen similar complaints in other reviews. However, aside from this issue, mine has been functioning flawlessly so far.

Great mouse. Software is getting there too.
I have a half dozen Logitech mice, and this one definitely has the best feel and is quieter. The software, Logi Options PLUS, has come a long way as well. The main feature I like is “flow” where I can be working on my windows PC, move the mouse to the side of the screen and it appears on the Macbook and even another PC. It also allows me to link the keyboard so you can control up to 3 computers effortlessly with both mouse and keyboard following from machine to machine. The custom gestures are useful and software gets customized for easier use as well. They’ve all held up well over the years and while pricey, end up being worth it with hours of use day after day for years on end. The high DPI is a plus for gamers, but being able to fine tune for speed is nice. Support, sadly, has become practically useless with mindless responses that take weeks to complete and often don’t solve anything at all and blame the user. Fortunately you don’t need them much, but aside from poor CS, I’d recommend their products.

Great mouse for WFH
Since Covid, both of us has been working from home so we were on a search to find equipment that would make our home offices comfortable to work. We ended up buying another one. It’s been a year since we have been using these and they are still so great! I like the fact that you can use it with the cord and cordless. It is comfortable in our hands and we have very different size hands.

Love this mouse. So many features.
I have been a fan of the MX Performance mouse for quite a few years, and was bummed when I found out it was no longer available. I am one that wants more than a 3-button mouse and loves having the option of setting up various buttons to simplify various tasks.I decided to try the Logitech MX Master 3S mouse, and have been using it over 2 months. I love it even more than the MX Performance mouse. This mouse connects with the supplied Logi Bolt Receiver and configured using the Logi Options app which shows Logitech products connected to both the Bolt receiver and the Bluetooth receiver. I have the Logitech MX keys keyboard that is connected to the Bluetooth receiver that is internal on my computer but can still be configured using the Logi Options software. So, why do I love this mouse and prefer it over the MX Performance mouse?1) The MX Master 3S mouse is covered with a soft rubberized covering that does not show fingerprints or collect oils from fingers. The MX Performance mouse is plastic and eventually collects oils that look grubby which needs cleaning.2) After installing the Logi Options software, the Logi Bolt receiver was instantly seen on my computer and the MX Master 3S mouse was easy to install on my computer.3) Using the Logi Options app, this mouse is so much easier to configure for different programs that may use the buttons differently. For the MX performance mouse, I had to configure it for different programs by entering a combination of keys. This is all supplied in the Logi Options app. You need only to select the apps you want the mouse to be compatible for. Some of the pictures are some of the Logi Option app screens.4) The Logi Options app can also be used to configure Logitech products connected to the Logitech Bluetooth receiver.5) There is no need for a mouse pad. This mouse works equally well on any surface.6) The battery charge lasts for much longer than the MX Performance mouse. I have had this mouse over 2 months and use it for at least 5 hours or more every day. I have charged it once in that time. The only downside I can think of comparing this mouse to the MX Performance mouse is that the rechargeable battery is not replaceable. When the battery goes, you have to buy a new mouse. Other than that, this model is far superior to prior models for both performance and battery longevity between charges. If you need a new mouse and like to have options, I highly recommend this mouse. If my opinion changes, I will update this review. I hope this review was helpful for you.

Very ergonomic
Imagine you’re at an auto dealership and the salesperson shows you two new cars on the showroom floor.AUTO A has what you need to get to commute to and from work. 4-cylinder engine, fabric seats, 6.5-inch touchscreen, AM/FM radio, a decent maintenance track record, manual in the glove box.AUTO B is your own major domo on wheels. V-6 engine, power everything, programmable side view mirrors and seating, premium leather trim and seats with zero-gravity contouring, 12-inch touchscreen, satellite radio, excellent maintenance track record, manual in the form of a quick access phone app.Would you shell out considerably more for Auto B or is Auto A all you need? No judgment. If you want a working mouse that clicks left and right with a scroll dial (and possibly back/forward buttons), you can find a very capable device for $10-20. Go forth, fellow shopper! If you want to pamper your hand with the most ergonomically comfortable, flexible, programmable mouse out there in 2023, the MX Master 3S is very much worth the price tag.One negative with this Logitech model is that, until further notice, it discriminates against lefties. If you need a left-handed mouse, this is not for you. Sorry lefties – you’re still cooler than the rest of us.Here are the main selling points imo:– It is a PLEASURE to lay my palm on this thing. It’s basically an ottoman for your hand. The rubbery thumb groove is ribbed for your pleasure. (If you have an especially small or large hand, you may not love it quite as much)– 9 different surfaces can be clicked and/or dialed, all easy to locate with index, middle finger and thumb.– Several buttons can be programmed to do any one of 45 actions. Yes, 45.– You can program the mouse to perform a set of actions specific to apps you use like Chrome, Word, Zoom and countless others installed on your computer.– The Logi Options+ computer app is amazing. Great UI & UX for all the programming you want to experiment with. Despite the intimidating number of programmable choices, it’s super easy and enjoyable to tinker with for 20 minutes until you’re happy.– You can quickly loan the mouse to another computer using the Easy-Switch buttons on the bottom of the device.– Quiet-click left/right buttons are very satisfying.– You can check the charge levels by opening the Logi Options+ on your computer. Logitech advertises that USB-C charging gives you 70 days of use. On a full charge, I got 54 days with normal, everyday use before it died, so it falls a bit short of that promise. However, it fully charges in roughly two hours and you can use the mouse while charging it. (You can also flip the power switch off on the bottom of the unit to really maximize each charge.)My old mouse was a simple Logitech model (see AUTO A above). It worked well enough for a year until I discovered I couldn’t do simple tasks easily like dragging documents across monitors, resizing them, or highlighting text. Swapping out AA batteries didn’t help. With the MX Master, every action is spot on. I do not regret a penny of the $100 I spent on this mouse.

It is impossible to switch the mouse without lifting it and pressing tine button on the bottom.
Keyboard is excellent. Great feel – proximity switch for backlight. It pairs and switches without any problem with couple PCs. You press one of the switch buttons and almost instantenuously you are switched. Problem is – it DOES NOT switch the mouse too. To do it you have to lift the mouse (somewhat heavy) and press a tiny button on the bottom of it. Once to switch 1->2 and twice to switch back. And there is no point to configure any of the “smart switches” on top of the mouse to do it for. This is one of the DUMBEST design idea and whoever did it deserves to be fired. They had a meeting and they approved it? Seriously? “Oh yeah people will love to lift the mouse with right hand and press tiny recessed button with left”. Iwould have never bought it had I known that – but Logitech would not reply to my pre-sale inquiry about that specific issue and since it is marketed as “combo” I thought “naaah – nobody would be that dumb to force people to use two switches”. Well apparently they are that dumb.It may work for you if you work for a long stretches on one machine then switch. Not for me. I returned it – will get another multidevice kbrd from Logitech and stay with my Logitech trackball mouse – 15+ years and still kicking.

Ergonomic
It’s very comfortable in my hands while using but can be kind of heavy. Best feature is being able to link 3 devices to your mouse so you can switch PC control quickly without having to have another mouse. Battery life is long only if you turn off your mouse or the battery still drains.

Very happy with Logitech MX Keys
I am very happy with this keyboard and mouse. I purchased so that I could same keyboard/mouse on both my work and personal computers. Keys are quiet but tactile. Mouse is ergonomic and very functional. Connects quickly to device and device switching works well. Battery life is very good. Only minor complaint/feature request is that it would be nice if the mouse would switch devices when selected on the keyboard rather than having to switch devices on both the keyboard and mouse. Overall, very satisfied with purchase.

Its a premium logitech products so what do you expect its going to be great. My only slight complaint is the dent on the keys, I’d rather of completely flat keys.I prefer this style keyboard for work it’s nicer to type on a laptop style keyboard.I wouldn’t recommend this for gaming it’s strengths are for productivity.

Great for video editing
Love this, had the original MX Master and finally decided I needed to upgrade. Tracking is smooth, clicking is quiet, and super ergonomic. Good quiet mouse and good customer service
This mouse is great, especially if you want a mouse that is very quiet. I can use my laptop and this mouse while in the family room without driving everyone nuts by the constant clicking that I do when working. I also like the ability to spin the wheel freely, which allows me to move through long spreadsheets very quickly. Then I can click a button that keeps the wheel from moving unless I want it to move. Just the way I like it.The mouse that I bought had a battery that wouldn’t last nearly as long as advertised, but after a painless set of emails with their customer service staff, they sent me a new one. The new mouse is a tad heavier, so I assume that the replacement mouse has a larger battery.

Worth the price
This is the best mouse I’ve ever used, which it should be considering it’s also the most expensive. It’s very comfortable in the hand. It’s a larger mouse and my hands are pretty small for a man, so I don’t think most people will have a problem with fit. One thing I missed about my Mac is the inertia scrolling of the Magic Mouse. This mouse accomplishes the same thing with it’s scroll wheel, which can go at variable speeds. There’s a second wheel on the side of the mouse for easy horizontal scrolling, too. No regrets so far.

comfortable for average hand size
pretty comfortable overall and it paired easily with Windows 11 PC without needing the USB dongle. There is a tiny bit of latency if you let it rest, but once it is moving it is smooth. My guess is this lag is a battery saving feature, and it might be quicker to respond if you plug in the dongle. The available buttons are great, and I can see why this would work as a gaming mouse. I haven’t had it long enough to test the lifespan of the battery, but I’m glad it is rechargeable so I can stop replacing batteries.it feels like a size medium and I could have used a large, which is par for the course when you are 6’8″. If I could have scaled up the size it would get the full 5-star treatment instead of 4.

sturdy, comfortable and precise. Good for CAD/BIM
It’s almost the perfect mouse. I have just a few slight complaints:1. The side-scroll wheel is a bit too high (even for XL hands). Enough that I don’t make a point of trying to use the feature that I didn’t really need in the first place.2. The main scroll wheel is a bit touchy. It feels great, but it’s too easy to zoom out to infinity. Takes some getting used to; maybe a setting I’m missing.3. Seems overpriced as of review date (early 2024).

Blown away by this mouse. Great for designers.
I started getting wrist pain from using my laptop trackpad and realized I needed to bite the bullet and get a mouse. I mainly use Figma and Illustrator, which is why I was hesitant to get a mouse out of concern for a lack of control. But damn, this mouse has everything: ergonomic design, satisfying haptics, and you can even fully customize each of the buttons through their app, Logi Options+ (which on a side note is fun to mess around with and looks amazing). For example I’ve been using the scroll wheel as the hand tool in Illustrator. Glorious. I got used to it in about an hour.

Not a giant leap forward from previous models
PROS:• The clicks are quiet. So what.• The battery lasts a lot longer. That’s good.CONS:• There are fewer buttons than my old MX.• The horizontal scroll wheel is of dubious value, but worse, it gets in the way.• The horizontal scroll wheel gets in the way of accessing back and forward buttons.• The Logi Options+ could be better designed. Like all things Logitech, the physical product is superior to the software and support. It’s like two different companies conspired to make one product. It’s a good mouse but certainly not a great one. I’m not sure why our buying options are so limited when it comes to mice.

After trying others this is the best I’ve found.
I got this to solve a problem I was having with Logic Pro (for audio production) on my Mac Book Pro, so this is specifically about that situation in that application.I needed to resolve automation settings to 0.1db and the 2 Apple Magic Mouse I had were not doing that easily or consistently. I’ve since learned of a keyboard trick to solve that problem, so the Magic Mouse were not at fault. But the combination of the 8K DPI setting and adjustable pointer speed, which I’m running at 800, has me using it all the time now.I must say that finding those adjustments required a support call with Logitech because nothing in the manual, such as it is, or in the Logi Options+ app, explains how, which is easy enough if you just click on the image of the mouse on the opening page of the app. And after I got past the ChatBots, Logitech support did not take long to answer my question. The MX Master 3S is a great mouse at a good price, with lots of other features and options to recommend it.

Comfortable mouse
I never spent so much $ on a mouse before. It has a nice feel and is quiet. It holds a charge well. I wish the side button could be used to scroll. It is too tall for my keyboard tray to close which is not something I would have thought about in advance. Not a deal breaker but not ideal either.

It’s worth it
It’s a very nice mouse, feels good on the hand, it’s got a lot of functionality, buttons are mappable. The only thing that makes this mouse not perfect is the texture. The buttons have a nice smooth texture, but back is a little rougher, which doesn’t exactly feel bad, but the smooth feeling is better

An excellent mouse
The MX Master 3S was an upgrade from my Logitech M720 (which was getting a bit glitchy — text highlighting/selection wasn’t working consistently). This is by far the easiest and quickest pairing to my work and personal laptops that I’ve experienced – a pleasant surprise (even if it isn’t a regular chore).I’m impressed with the way the mouse fits to hand – much more so that the previous mouse. Controls and tactile response are great, and the improved performance – whether on a mouse pad or solid surface – is very good. The price may seem steep, but if you are working at a computer for 9-10 hours a day, you’ll appreciate the comfort and performance of this device.

Worth the upgrade from the 2S
I’ve had a few of these and recently upgraded from the 2S. I was wondering if it would be worth it and it definitely is. Slow initialization
I love most parts about it. It’s comfortable, its buttons are well designed. The only issue I have with it is that it tracks at 1/2 speed for the first 5 seconds after Windows wakes up. I’m using their provided Bolt receiver. I didn’t have this issue with 2S.

So Comfortable!
I originally bought the Logitech MX Anywhere 3S, but returned it for this mouse. Originally I thought it would be too large to use, but as an every day mouse it’s great. The click sounds are so elegantly soft and smooth. Oh the scroll wheel, goodness it’s amazing. Makes you want to scroll things all day! Plus the added extra button on the bottom of the thumb is a nice and fun extra.

Best mouse ever!
I abuse mice. Big time. I’m both an avid gamer and have a day job in software development, so my mouse gets used pretty much non-stop. As such, I tend to be hard on mice and struggle to find a balance between ergonomic, durable, and enough buttons for gaming. This one fits the bill so well that I’m on my third MX series mouse (the first was an MX Master, second and third were Master 3), and regularly recommend them to friends. The software works well on Windows and Mac, and it’s not overly difficult to remap the buttons on Linux. Love it!

Four steps backwards, four steps forward
Pros:1.) The fact that the scroll wheel is all metal or at least gets rid of the stepped plastic insert from the 2S.Cleaning that part of the mouse was a minor quibble on the 2S nonetheless. Either way, the all metal scroll wheel feels a lot better to use now that it’s all metal and the actual groves in the wheel feel much better to touch.2.) The silent clicks on the right and left clicker are a positive in my mind.3.) USB-C is a plus.Charging is faster although I didn’t bother to time the exact difference between the 3S and my 2S. Future-proofing is a good thing given that the future is USB-C4.) Bigger horizontal scroll wheel with a caveat though (see con#1).No plastic grippy insert for the the horizonal scroll wheel on the 3S which is a pro or a con depending on how you use the horizonal scroll wheel. I didn’t mind it either way on the 2S and not having it on the 3S is the same for me.Cons:1.) Logitech moved the dedicated side buttons lower and placed the horizontal scroll wheel above the dedicated side buttons. That means my thumb is constantly touching the lower of the two buttons on the left side which is not my preference. Compared to the MX Master 2S, the 3S two side buttons are too close to my thumb now which means I accidentally click the (default) forward button on the 3S more than I ever have when I used the MX Master 2S.2.) The rubber or soft-touch plastic that surrounds where your palm goes is way too slippery for my taste. The MS Master 2S had a grippy soft outer rubber layer for the thumb and the palm which made it much easier to hold and grip. Unfortunately the MX Master 3S is very slippery and harder to grip. The MX Master 3S is definitely much easier to clean but holding the mouse requires me to use my pinky and right ring finger more often. Compared to when I used my Master MX 3S, I could easily and swiftly wander with the 3S using only my pinky and thumb to hold the right and left sides respectively.3.) Activation/press area of hidden thumb button is much smaller on the 3S compared to the larger area on the 2S.There’s a little grove/pit that you press down on using your thumb with the 3S and it’s much smaller than I would like. Not only is it smaller on the 3S, the position of the area/grove is too far behind where my thumb rests. I have to scrunch up my thumb to reach back on the mouse to click it which is annoying. The 2S had a much better placement and the entire area your thumb rest on was clickable. Yes, the 2S had that hard plastic edge that made it harder to clean and allowed things to get into which made it even harder to clean but since I always have clean hands it was never an issue for me with I used the 2S hidden thumb button.4.) The 3S has a smaller palm area.Depending on your preference, this is a con or a pro or both. For me, this is a con. I have small hands so I liked how much more bulkier the MX Master 2S was. The bulkier 2S was easier for me to hold because I didn’t have to scrunch up my palm in order to make more contact with the palm rest. This also means less area for your palm to rest on which I do. If you don’t rest your palm on the mouse as much, this won’t be a con for you.Not a pro but not a con either:1.) No storage area for the Bolt receiver on the 3S anywhere just like the 2S unfortunately.I don’t travel a lot so it’s not a problem at the moment but I would have still liked to see a tiny compartment to place the Bolt receiver into when not in use. One of my old Logitech wireless mouse had a removable battery compartment which allowed you to place the receiver into when it wasn’t in use and that was great. Now I can and have lost a few receivers because there’s no place to put those tiny Unifying receivers.2.) No visible charge level indicator.Yes there is a charging indicator but it doesn’t tell you the battery level/percentage without having to check the software. The green light is simply on of off. I don’t know what it looks like when there is a low battery (like if it turns red or anything) but I’d rather know the actual percentage just from glancing at the mouse instead of having to open up the software and constantly check. For example, three tiny lights to tell me if the battery is high, medium, or low. Notifying me only when it IS low on battery is literally waiting until the last minute to let me know before I have to charge it which isn’t a plus exactly.3.) Ambidextrous it is not.I’m not left handed or ambidextrous but I really would have liked to have seen an ambidextrous version of the MX Master series from Logitech.4.) You can use it even when it’s charging (looking at you Apple and Sony).I hate not being able to use my devices when they’re charging especially because I don’t like to plus in my devices to let them charge (and then overcharge) overnight. I’m glad Logitech didn’t try to reinvent the wheel just to look sleeker and dumber like Apple’s pathetic (not so) Magic mouse.5.) No USB-C receiver.I switch between a desktop using Windows and a MacBook Air. The Windows desktop uses the Bolt receiver and the MacBook Air uses Bluetooth. The Bluetooth use for this 3S mouse is a little laggy on my MacBook Air but I don’t mind it much since I code as a hobby. My Windows desktop is my main computer. I don’t have a Bolt receiver for my MacBook Air yet but that’s because I’m a.) waiting to see if Logitech gives us a Bolt receiver with USB-C and b.) I don’t have a docking station/hub yet to use with my MacBook Air anyway (and the MacBook Air I have only has USB-C ports). The reason why this isn’t a con or a pro is because my Windows desktop doesn’t have any USB-C ports to begin with because of COVID and the chip shortage with those eye-watering prices for computer components. Otherwise I would have built a new desktop computer by now.I don’t know if Logitech even reads these reviews but I really hope the next iteration isn’t worse. It’s becoming increasingly more difficult to find tech you like to use only to not be able to find a replacement down the road because the series was discontinued or has been “upgraded” by a manufacturer. Either way though, I’m glad we have the 3S. I can certainly imagine a much worse product/world if we didn’t have the 3S. Things could have been worse with the 3S but thankfully they’re not world-changing bad at least for me.

Wow!
I already had one of the Mechanical MX keyboards, hated it at first, ended falling in love with it, and ordering a second one for work. But a $100 mouse? That’s though to swallow. But alas the dopamine of a new purchase eclipsed my common sense, and here I sit using this new mouse. Initial thoughts, meh, it’s a mouse.A week like, holy crap this thing is freaking amazing and I’m buying a second to go with the other keyboard. LOVE the scrool wheel. I’ve had ones that would lock / unlock manually, but not one that wou ld do it intelligently. The gestures, I haven’t gotten that used to them yet, but I suspect I will. I would like a bit of a click when using the buttons, similar to the keyboard, but no such luck.Yeah, you can get a $10 mouse that will work. And if that’s your budget, get what you can. You can get a car for $10k also, again if that’s what you have, that’s fine. But buying this mouse is like buying the $60,000+ car, you can tell where you money went when using it, and so long as it’s in your budget, no regrets. LOVE IT, ordering a second.

Best mouse for multiple computers? Yes!
I replaced a Magic Trackpad, a Magic Mouse, and a wired-mouse with the MX Master S3. I also replaced two Magic Keyboards and a wired keyboard with a Keychron Q5 Max, but I’ll tell you about that awesome purchase in another review! I’m now controlling two Macs and a Dell R640 Linux node with one keyboard and mouse. Loving the extra desk space. Switching between the computers requires me to push a button on the underside of the mouse… I wish the button was on top. Thank goodness the Bluetooth on this mouse is rock solid. I’ve read a few reviews that discussed other mice having problems connecting to computers… not this mouse. With one touch, you can switch the scroll-wheel between a high-resolution and super high speed scrolling. You can’t imagine how fast this mouse can scroll! The mouse movement is much more precise compare to any other drive I’ve ever used.I was surprised how quickly I made the switch to a new mouse. The mouse is very comfortable, and the design is, simply stated, “smart”.The battery life is much like my other devices, so nothing special here, but I’m also glad that the battery life is not a dud!Well, this thing is just a mouse. If you want to control up to three devices… this isn’t a bad choice! I’m glad I picked it!

The Latest is a Fail
I’ve been using Logitech as my MOUSE since 1995 when they first started making ergonomic mice, the Mouseman+. White with grey rubber. M-CW47. (White and purple version didn’t include the scroll wheel)I went to the MX 500 in 2002, very good mouse. Since then, it’s been $100 mice: MX Master, Master 2S and finally this thing called the MX Master S3; so every 4~5 years, I need to replace one of these. My MX 2S still works today, but the main left switch is not very responsive anymore and it’s kind of yucky and worn out (I cleaned it for the photo)/ I really wanted and love the near-silent buttons of the MX S3, as I already use Logitech M650 for my notebook, an excellent mouse. The M650 comes in large and “small”, which is great for kids.I included a pics showing the Master MX, MX 2S and MS 3S. (The 2S isn’t silent, but I guess the “s” is Second version). They all pretty much look and feel the same (not the Red M650). Where the MX 3S is improved over the older models is he placement of the side buttons and scroll wheel. I think they finally got it perfect, without it being the wheel of the MX500 (which rotated forward and back a short distance) The large main buttons are AWESOME! I never cared for the hard-edge sides on the older models. 90’s Logitech had buttons covering the whole top, has been missed. The wheel feels good to spin with an all-metal design that should be easier to clean over the older MX models. And of course, the near-silent buttons are very welcomed and sound almost the same as the M650.The problems with the 3S: The bottom thumb button is useless. (see photo) as you really have to bend your thumb to reach it. The MX master, almost any part of the thumb will work. MX S2, is almost as good. But the MX 3S? Nope! It’s useless, why even bother? The 3S is slightly smaller but taller than any of the previous models. It’s noticeable. I compared the angle and shape of the hump of the M650 is the same as the MX 2S, so maybe that’s why the M650 is such a popular mouse. It’s easily the best sub $50 mouse on the market.I figure I’d get used to the 3S. It looks great, it sounds great, it appears a lot of thought went into it. But the scroll wheel and/or software is problematic. Worse on my new Windows 11 desktop, but still buggy on my Win 10 notebook. At first, I thought my new PC was the problem, but plugging in the MX 2S showed proper operation. The issues: – When scrolling, like on webpages or Word documents, the page/window tended to move back up a notch. Even if I didn’t have to re-adjust, the movement was irritating. This would be about 1 out of 4~5 times. it got OLD. – Zooming with web pages, especially Google Maps = with little control. Usually zoomed down to near street level, but zooming out means seeing the whole country or planet. Switching to notched/divots mode did help a lot, but… what’s the point of free wheel? The lack of a free-wheel is one reason the M650 isn’t my main mouse, and the lack of thumb rest. If they added those two features and sold it for $50, I’d be golden. I updated Windows (helped) I updated the Logitech software (helped), but the issues never went away.- Clicking on website items: like pull-down menus = strange behaviors. Like unable to make a selection because the mouse would click for me or something. I don’t quite remember much anymore. But it made things difficult. And since Logitech gives most mouse pointer speed & scroll control to windows, nothing seem to solve these problems.I had replaced my MX 3S with another one. I must have a bad mouse, right? The new replacement was pretty much just as bad. I updated software again. I used the mouse, to get used to it. But with my MX 2S handy, I grabbed it – so I could get stuff done. Over the course of a few weeks, I forgot I had the 3S. I tried it again… tried it on my Win10 notebook, again. And it was nothing but frustration. The M650, a $25~34 mouse that’s BT paired, worked great. Zoom, scroll, mouse movement. MX 3S… not so much.Another problem with the MX series in general, is the USB polling rate of 125Hz. Many of us play games, and as I looked into this, 500~1000Hz USB polling is important. I knew this when I got the 3S, but to me – the silence and good ergonomics was more important than better gaming. Logitech should have options to raise the USB polling as needed. So I packed up the 3S, and dropped it off at UPS and typed up this review. I won’t waste my $100 on a product I cannot use. I will need to find a good alternative. My 2017 MX 2s worn out. I’m looking at gaming mice; looks like many of them are $150, some as low as $50. I don’t think any of them are “quiet”, which is a huge selling point for me. The Razer Basilisk X is $40~55. I don’t need or want RGB, got other things already. But no freewheel. 🙁 The no-names for $10~25 don’t look like they’re worth my time. Even thou one looked good, it turns out to be 20% smaller than a normal mouse.Oh, holding the mouse in the air, and moving will cause the scrolling. So does the 2S, but its just not as bad as the 3S. It’ll be 2-3 years before the MX 4S comes out, maybe then?

Finally decent scrolling on Windows
Pros:Scrolling 5/5-Scrolling on Windows has always be light years behind Mac – even when using a track pad on Windows vs a stepped scroll wheel, the scroll feels jerky and inconsistent while Macs always feel buttery smooth and fluid no matter what device you use. This mouse with the scroll wheel in free spin “MagSpeed” mode is the closest I’ve ever felt a Windows machine scroll like a Mac. It really is super nice. I almost never put it into the stepped mode. I see a lot of comments talking about inconsistent scrolling on this mouse and I cannot say I have experienced that. For context I am using the Lightspeed connector and not Bluetooth, which I’m sure plays a large factor with the free spin. Let’s look at the math behind that. Logitech claims Lightspeed has a 1ms response time, while bluetooth can be as low as 34ms but is often times more around 100-300ms. In “MagSpeed” mode at full spin speed, this mouse will do 1000 lines per second. So yes, for your computer to ingest those line signals it’s going to need a 1ms response rate. I am also using Logitech’s Options+ software which may also play a role in scrolling stability.Ergonomics 4/5-Ergonomics feel really nice to me, but borderline too small. My glove size is between M and L (or 8 and 9), so if you are an L or larger hand maybe this won’t work for you, but everyone’s comfort is different. The thumb and palm sculpting is really nice and fills the hand nicely (depending on your size). The matte finish texturing also feels nice, I just hope it doesn’t deteriorate over time.Logitech Options+ Software 5/5-Being able to program the button map per application is a game changer (for me) and has really improved my work flow. DPI can also be adjusted here.Gesture Button 5/5-The lower thumb “gesture” button gives back Mac like gestures to mouse users, something I sorta forgot I was missing but use it all the time now.DPI 5/5-I found out 8k DPI is too high for my monitor, which was one of the deciding factors for me between this and the MX 3. I have a 49inch ultrawide 32:9 ratio monitor at 5120X1440 resolution, and I could feel the lower DPI of my old mouse on this monitor. However this one set to 8k is crazy fast – way too fast – so I currently have it set to 55% speed. Again lets look at the math – if you have a 8k monitor, this mouse set to max DPI is going to get from the left most side of the screen to the right most side in just 1inch of mouse travel. That’s fast – you may find that 8K is overkill for your needs. That said, this is all easily adjustable in the Options+ software and it does feel WAY smoother than any mouse or trackpad I’ve used. I’ve yet to use this on glass – I’m sure the DPI helps in that regard.Click 4/5-I honestly thought I wouldn’t like having a silent click feel, and I like clicky keyboards as well, but it’s growing on me. Enough so to make me rethink the type of keyboard I’m using. Click feel and sound ultimately comes down to preference, so all I can say is you feel the click, but it’s barely audible. Search youtube or even Amazon reviews, I’ve seen sound comparisons with this mouse so judge for yourself.Cons:Ergonomics:-The lost point above is due to size – my fourth finger does rest on the desk, which was true of my previous mouse as well so I’m used to it but the experience would be better if there was a rest point or wing on the right side of this mouse. I don’t know, this is again preference and hold style but for me I think I would have given a higher score for ergonomics if my pinky didn’t touch the desk.Click:-Still on the fence on how silent the click is. Feel is good, sound is… well not there. So if you’re used to a satisfying click sound this is going to be jarring.Update 4/13/2023Custom Button Functions by App Glitch:When you use the Logi Options+ software to customize how the buttons function by app, sometimes there are glitches. It’s not often, may happen once or twice a week, but it seems to forget how to behave from one app to another, and use the incorrect customized settings for the buttons. While mildly annoying, when I open up the Logi Options+ app, it seems to remember again immediately, or if I’m patient enough it will resolve itself after a few minutes without opening the Logi app. Probably a bug that occurs somewhere along the lines of app switching and having many windows open.

Yup, love it.
It took me a bit to adjust. The first time I used it, I was debating on returning it actually. I thought there were too many buttons and I didn’t like how the scroll wheel felt. Then I finally time to took t0 read the instructions and fully understand it’s beauty. It’s waaayy better than a magic mouse in my honest opinion. Don’t know if Apple ever fixed this, but with this mouse, you can actually use it while charging! That should be a standard. But even then you’re charging less frequently than magic mouse. I’m not a gamer so I can’t speak to anything on that, but I am in front of the computer for hours on end for work. I’m a fan!

Good size for people with large hands. Wish it used G HUB instead of Options+
I have large hands and most mice feel a bit too small, but this one was perfect. The ergonomics feel good and I like the button layout and horizontal scroll wheel. The main scroll wheel has a neat feature where you can switch it between a smooth low friction wheel and a ratchet style. I usually prefer the ratchet style but they really nailed the physics on the smooth one, you can flick and let it spin then stop it with your finger when you want it to stop scrolling. It feels surprisingly good but I still use the ratchet mode more, even though it has an annoying tendency to scroll backward a bit after scrolling for a while in that mode. It happens infrequently and isn’t that bad when it happens so I’m still giving it 4 stars.Logitech, if you are reading this please fix the ratchet reversing scroll direction bug and support this device on G HUB. Logi Options+ is clunky and hard to use and all the other Logitech devices are in G HUB. Most people don’t want to have to install, learn, and maintain 2 softwares when one should work just fine.

Best mouse I’ve ever had
My dad recommended this mouse, said it was the best he’d ever bought. I was hesitant at first because it’s a bit pricey for me. But my previous mouse wasn’t working great, so I decided to go ahead and get it. So glad I did!The ergonomic design is great, feels fantastic in my hand. I love that it’s rechargeable, rather than using batteries. The best feature for me is the thumb scroll that lets you scroll sideways. I work with excel spreadsheets a lot for work, and this has been such a great improvement.

Yet another great improvement!
I’ve owned many Logitech MX series mice over the years, from the Performance Mouse MX, MX Master, MX Master 2S, now to the MX Master 3S. My MX Master 2S is still entirely functional (6 years old) however I recently had picked up an MX Mechanical Mini keyboard and didn’t like the fact that I had to use two dongles (Logitech Unifying receiver, and Logi Bolt receiver) in my setup. Decided to pick up the MX Master 3S so I could use just a single Logi Bolt receiver.Very happy with the minor improvements they’ve made over the MX Master 2S, things like the bigger side scroll wheel, the primary “MagSpeed” wheel (magnetic instead of mechanical), but most of all the SILENT BUTTONS. I really didn’t think it was going to make much of a difference to me when I read that this mouse had “silent clicks” but my goodness, it’s a world of difference. Between the feel and the lack of sound, it just feels so much more premium.Logitech, if you’re reading this, you guys get a firm handshake and a pat on the back. Really happy with this mouse and looking forward to another 6+ problem-free years of usage!

Only one thing to say
This set is fantastic. I just don’t have any complaints after using for a few months. The only thing I changed is kind of obscure but maybe more common than I think which is why I’m leaving this review. The mouse feet are square cut. Meaning they have right angles on the feet of the mouse. This means if you have a felt desk mat the feet will grab onto the felt strands and provide momentary resistance to an otherwise smooth gliding mouse. As an added side effect, this meant that my mat was rapidly growing wild hairs in the area of my mouse use. I found replacement “gaming” feet for it though that advertise that they have chamfered edges right here on Amazon. Just installed and they work as advertised! Smooth as butter!!! Logitec!!!! Take note!!!

A mouse that’s worth every penny: Logitech MX Master 3S
I’ve been using the Logitech MX Master 3S mouse for a while now and I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase. I used the MX Master previously and loved it but the 6 yr old mouse’s battery was giving out.The 3S’s battery life is impressive and lasts for a long time, so I don’t have to worry about charging it frequently. The Bluethooth is super convenient. The clicks are soft and quiet, which is great for working in a quiet environment. The matte texture of the mouse feels great in my hand and provides a good grip. The mouse is also highly customizable with the Logi Options+ app, which allows me to set up custom button functions and app-specific customizations. Overall, I would highly recommend this mouse to anyone looking for a high-quality wireless mouse that’s comfortable to use and highly customizable

An Ottoman for Your Hand
To be clear, this mouse is a Luxury Item.Imagine you’re at an auto dealership and the salesperson shows you two new cars on the showroom floor.AUTO A has what you need to get to commute to and from work.

Quiet and Comfortable
I’m a software developer and I use a Mac. So the Magic Mouse is incredibly frustrating to use because it’s so sensitive on the l/r scroll. It’s also too flat. This thing is like a natural extension of my hand and it’s incredibly quiet and incredible soft. Plus the settings allows for incredibly fine control over things like scrolling speed in every direction. It is the perfect mouse.

Very well made
Two months now and it is working great. This product was easy to install, I use it with the MX Keys S keyboard and they pair up easily. The mouse also provide for you to program up to 3 different computers to it, I have my Laptop, Desktop and my Wife’s computer assigned to it and it works great. I also like the feel of it in my hands ergonomically fits right and comfortable. I have no regrets with this purchase. Great Buy.

Love this mouse
This is one of the nicest mice I have used. It has a great feel and weight to it. It is very ergonomic without being awkward like some can be. It is very precise feeling, and with the thumb ledge, it feels like you have complete control of it (because you do). The battery lasts an extremely long time, and the tracking is flawless on every surface I have tried it on. I love that you can choose between stepped and completely smooooth free scrolling wheel settings with just a click of a button. The only thing I don’t use frequently is the side scrolling wheel, only because I keep forgetting that it’s there. I never accidentally activate it though, so that’s good. I highly recommend this mouse, if you are looking at it, you can’t go wrong.

A Game-Changer for Productivity
The Logitech MX Master 3S has proven to be a stellar addition to my workspace, offering a blend of comfort and functionality that significantly elevates my daily tasks. The ergonomic design is a game-changer. It feels like Logitech sculpted this mouse just for my hand, making long work sessions a breeze. The abundance of programmable buttons is a productivity enthusiast’s dream. I’ve tailored shortcuts for different applications, saving me time and clicks. Seamless switching between devices is a standout feature. Going from my laptop to tablet with a simple click is a convenience I didn’t know I needed. The battery life on this mouse is remarkable. It seems to have an energy-saving magic trick, lasting through weeks of heavy use without needing a recharge.Cons:The initial cost might make you hesitate. However, considering the quality and features, it’s more of an investment than a mere purchase. If you prefer a lightweight mouse, the MX Master 3S might feel a bit heavy. It took me a while to adjust, but it’s a matter of personal preference. While Bluetooth connectivity is generally smooth, occasional hiccups have been reported. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it’s worth mentioning.

Never Knew A MOUSE Could Be This Awesome!
This is the best mouse I could ask for!Like everyone, maybe, I did not pull the trigger on this purchase for months. I read and watched review after review, but still, the $100 mouse made me second-guess whether or not I should buy it or a lower-cost one. I was also worried about how the Bluetooth would connect to my Macbook M2.Rest assured worried soul, this mouse is COMPLETELY worth buying! The mouse, through Bluetooth, synced to my Mac within seconds of setting it up. Seriously. Super easy setup. You can also download the Logitech MS 3S software, too, from their website, for more detailed configurations for the mouse, which was an easy thing to do, but even that wasn’t necessary.Additionally, it ADDS to my Macbook experience. No joke. Who would have thought? The mouse cannot only switch through your different web pages but also your different opened windows, like your webpage to your Word document to your homepage. Also, the mouse itself feels nice and comfortable in the hand, and you can tell it’s made from high-quality material.Simply put, it’s worth the $100. I don’t regret my purchase. I even found myself sharing about how awesome it was to a friend. That should say a lot lol! I hope this helps 🙂

Not a gamer, but I have large hands and this thing is smooth and comfortable
My hands are quite large and I can make the mouse disappear, but I am rested on it comfortable for a long work day… and an evening of editing photos. Really like the accuracy (using primarily on a mac). I guess my only complaint is the forward/back buttons feel a little flimsy and toyish feeling, but in the end they work… for how long? I have no idea… This is my first Logitech mouse in years as they ones I had in the past did not last. Right now, I like this one. That may change in 3, 6, 9, 12 months, but I may come back and do a follow-up.

Best mouse money can buy.
I have been using various Logitech MX Master mice for almost 10 years now, since the original MX Master came out, in both professional settings and at home. When a new mouse model comes out with new features that persuade me to upgrade, I rotate the current workplace mouse to my home PC and use the new one at work. I haven’t used a mouse, yet, that’s been better for me than the MX Master series. For more personal usage context;I work in mechanical engineering using CAD software, do occasional software coding, device programming, Office software, etc. Like a lot of engineers in the manufacturing-related industries, I also work too many hours, 50-70 hours per week. My job is computer-based for the overwhelming majority of this time. For the first time, I replaced a workplace mouse with the same model. I replaced my MX Master 3S with an identical one due to the left mouse button started to miss clicks. IOW, I would push the button per usual but it wouldn’t recognize that it had been clicked. I troubleshooted everything that could be done (charge, firmware, OS settings, etc) and decided it was hardware related. Having a fresh new one confirmed this, as the buttons on my old one are noticeably softer and not nearly as snappy-clicking as my new one. The old one was purchased almost 2 years ago to the day, based on purchase history.I’m overall satisfied with the longevity of the product given the amount of use it gets, including being thrown in a backpack with a laptop and other devices, not-infrequently, sometimes traveling (truck or airplane-carryon) which is a bit abusive, I suppose. The 3S is wildly better and more satisfying to use than its predecessor, the MX Master 3.If this one wears out in two years, and Logitech hasn’t come out with a better one yet, I’ll definitely buy an exact replacement without a second thought.

Best Mouse
Love this mouse. I am a tax accountant and use my computer 60+ hours per week during tax season so a comfortable mouse is important to me. I recently purchased this one to replace an older Master 3 that I had (still works great and gets great battery life, I just moved it to a different computer). The battery life is great, I charge it every Friday out of habit but I have never seen it go below 75% so I wouldn’t be surprised if it could last almost a whole month. The accuracy improvement vs the older Master 3 mouse is slightly noticeable and the super fast scrolling is great. The other thing that I really love is the programmable buttons that are easy to setup. I know the programmable keys are mostly for gaming but I have found them to be really useful for working in Excel, for instance, I programmed one of the buttons to automatically input ALT+T+U+D which shows me the dependents of any given cell and saves 4 keystrokes. Another button I have programmed brings up the Quick Access Toolbar which is customizable so with just one press of the button I can bring that up and have access to all my most used tools right away. These may not sound like huge time savers but they really do add up and I find that they help me stay better focused. If I have one “complaint” I would have to say it is the button underneath that allows you to switch between 3 different computers. This button/feature works great and works really fast, however it is a little annoying to flip the mouse over and press the little button. I’m sure this is deliberate as it would be much more annoying if this button was accidently pushed easily, but that really is the only criticism I can think of with this product.
