UPDATE: 1 year laterI love this cooler. I know I could have bought a dorm fridge much cheaper and got the same results, but I like the way this one looks. One thing I noticed is that having a light in a cooler is unnecessary unless it is in an unlighted space. Most importantly, after almost a year the unit needed to be defrosted (ice builds up on the back wall). So I emptied it, unplugged it and put a towel in the bottom to soak up the water. Surprise! There was water all over the floor. Apparently as it defrosts the water drains out of the back somewhere. So after it was done, I dried it as best I could, let it sit over night to eliminate any moisture and plugged it in. I let it cool 24 hours before loading it up again. I put in 40 16.9 oz bottles and a 12 pack of soda. It is comfortably full.REVIEW FOR: NewAir Beverage Cooler and Refrigerator, Mini Fridge with Glass Door, Perfect for Soda Beer or Wine, 126-Can Capacity, AB-1200I have had this beverage cooler about 6 weeks now, so I thought I would give a preliminary review. After reading reviews about a LOT of brands, I found 3 main complaints that people had.1. The 1st complaint people had was that the fridge was damaged upon arrival.>>>>> So, When I got mine I looked it over and the box was NOT damaged. I unboxed it and found one rear corner on the top was bent/crushed. This had to happen BEFORE it was shipped since the box was not crusher.2. The 2nd was that they would not cool. >>>>>>>When I got mine unboxed I read the little booklet. It suggested that you let it sit upright for several hours BEFORE plugging. The plug had a sticker attached that said to let it sit 24 hours. So I went with 24 hours before plugging in.3. The 3rd complaint I noticed was that they do not get cold enough. >>>>> my cooler has a dial that goes from 1 – 7. I set it on 5 and let it cool for 24 hours. Then I put all of the drinks from my fridge into the cooler.MY thoughts: I ended up putting the dial on ‘6’ to make it a little cooler. I THINK the drinks are pretty much the same as they were in my regular fridge. They are NOT ice cold. But my regular fridge is not ice cold either. They are fine for me to drink without ice, but for beer drinkers it may not cool enough.126 can capacity???????? Possible??? Yes maybe, if you want room temperature drinks. This is what I have in it. I decided to leave all 5 shelves in and that limits capacity. I also make sure the bottles do NOT touch the real wall so air can circulate freely.25 – 16.6oz water bottles,8 – 8oz water bottles5 – 16oz Orange Juice4 – 4oz ginger ale4 single serve fruit cups4 – 10oz grape juiceSo, about 50 items total. If everything was the size of a soda can, it would hold more, maybe 75 items without being overcrowded. It is supposed to be freestanding, but I have a space that it fits in and still have the proper clearances – 2” and the sides, 4” on the top and 8” in the backWould I buy it again? Yes. I got it on sale, saving $50.

3rd time’s the charm! (Update: Died after 1 year 5 months)
UPDATE 11/15/2015:Just a few weeks ago, our fridge died. We’ve had it only 1 year and 5 months (just past the warranty). The compressor died, and the cost to repair it is significantly more than the cost of the fridge itself. I’m lowering my score to 1 star now. Looks like Amazon has lowered the price, but I wouldn’t recommend this fridge. The Danby model might be a better buy, but to be honest, these beverage fridges don’t appear to be made to last very long no matter which brand you purchase. I had a mini fridge in college that was still going strong after 4 years. I can’t believe this one failed after less than 2 years!ORIGINAL REVIEW:While the packaging on this fridge seems OK, the first two boxes arrived pretty beat up and the fridges also had some dents in them. The first one we received sounded like a lawnmower when plugged in. The second one I didn’t even bother taking out of the box since I noticed the corner was dented severely. There was a hole through the fragile sticker which is pretty pathetic. They clearly have some packaging/shipping problems on these. Looks like other brands of fridges have similar problems, not just NewAir. Buyer beware! This could happen to you. It might make more sense to just buy it from a local store if you don’t want to take a chance.CUSTOMER SERVICEI finally decided to call an amazon customer service rep to see what they could do. He apologized that I wasn’t able to get the fridge in good condition. I asked if I could have UPS ship it since the last two had been shipped by FedEx. I also wanted to be able to sign for the package in case I wanted to refuse it (our package deliverers have a bad track record of actually knocking or ringing the doorbell!). He said he would do his best to do these things. Helpful and friendly. The same customer service rep even followed up with me the next morning to see if we could call UPS and get a signed delivery. Unfortunately UPS said it was too late, that we should have done it when the package went out (not sure why there wasn’t a checkbox for the service rep to check? But I don’t know how their system works). That being said, the package arrived in pretty good condition (much better than the previous two attempts!) and the UPS man did ask for a signature. I was hesitant when unpacking it and plugging the fridge in, but so far everything looks OK! FINALLY!Amazon’s customer service was excellent. They gave me free UPS pickup for both returns and each pickup/delivery only took one business day.As for the fridge quality itself…FRIDGE QUALITY:The Danby fridge is $100 less, and I suggest you also take a look at that one if you want something cheaper but with what looks like similar quality. This was a gift for my husband and he picked out the NewAir because of the slightly better reviews. The quality is mediocre…3/5 stars. Not nearly as good as a real fridge. A couple of the shelves aren’t quite straight and the cooling metal plate at the top are not quite level either, which makes fitting some of the drinks a pain. The front with the stainless steel door looks nice. The sides are black metal and neutral, but after seeing dents in the first two I know they aren’t super sturdy. The back is not metal; it looks to be made of a thin type of wood (think cardboard but sturdier). It is also open on the bottom so you can see the condenser coils. If you want to display the back I suggest getting some kind of metal grating to cover everything. It comes with what we assume is a condenser tray loosely stuck with putty on the back of the unit (not mentioned in the manual at all). We aren’t quite sure if we need to reattach it…we’ll figure that out later. There’s also random putty in a few other places…looks a bit sloppy but I guess no one will see it since it’s in the back. The door appears reversible but I don’t see this mentioned in the (paltry) instructions. Note that if you reverse the door, the “NEWAIR” logo/text will be upside-down. So in that sense the door is not “truly” reversible. Also note that this is not designed to be put under a bar or counter. You unfortunately need to get an expensive fridge that vents from the front for that, or design the counter with plenty of air flow.I’ve had the fridge on for about a day without any drinks and it seems to go below 30 on the bottom when I measured with my thermometer…so it should keep drinks cold.It is not silent, but it isn’t super loud either. I hear a humming sound and a gurgling sound when the compressor runs. The rest of the time it is quiet. As another reviewer noted, the LED lights are white, not blue…though I guess they are “blueish”.So was this a good buy? I certainly hope so! I don’t know how long this thing will last, but if we get 5 years out of it I’d be happy.I’ll update this review if we run into any problems.UPDATE:We’ve had this fridge now for almost a year, and no additional problems so far. The only tiny issue we had is that someone at one of our parties was leaning on the door (who does that?! seriously!), so now it is very slightly crooked, but I’m pretty sure we’re the only ones that notice it. At this point I’ve either gotten used to the humming, or the fridge has quieted down over time. I don’t notice any noise from this fridge at all anymore. That being said…I’m very good at tuning out sounds, so YMMV.

Great value for a beverage fridge!
I had been looking for a decent beverage fridge at a reasonable price for several years. This one came up on Amazon prime day, and I couldn’t resist. I am not disappointed! The shelves can move around into a variety of positions for containers of various heights. It only took a couple of days to get the temperature adjustment just right. I use one of those little portable Thermometers inside, which I purchased from Amazon a few years ago for my regular fridge. The temperature has stayed between 35 and 40°, which is just great for beverages. The only reason I didn’t give this five stars is because it’s marketed as being able to reverse the door. However, first you would need to find someone strong enough to unscrew the screws that were obviously installed with the machine. And then, if you did flip the door, the handle will be on the bottom near the floor, and the brand logo of the door will be upside down. I decided to leave the door as is.

Mini-fridges are pretty much hit and miss unless you go commercial
I bought the “refurb” one for $196 (shipped). From the reviews I am seeing all mini-fridges, they are pretty much all hit and miss unless you go commercial. I figured at $200 it was disposable if it just lasted a couple years. Mine wasn’t actually refurbed per say, but was a scratch and dent model. It came with an inspection that said it was verified to work. It has a good dent in the stainless metal frame around the front window. I expected something like this as it stated somewhere in the ad to expect this on the refurbs. I didn’t take off 1 star because of that.Actually I may look at taking the door frame off and see if I can roll out the dent to make it more presentable, but this is just for a gameroom so no worries either way. I don’t have a thermometer to put in the fridge yet to check the exact temp, but I will update the review when I do. If you turn it on max cold, drinks seem comparably cold to my full fridge, maybe a tad cooler. What I am taking a star off for is the noise and power draw. I can easily hear this thing running across the house, although its the pitch that gets you, not the db.Update 1 – I was initially worried how cold beverages would get and how much it would have to run to get them there. I would say it gets them cold enough for me at setting 6 (of 7). At setting 7, drinks have that near freezing bite to them. Thats definitely nice, but knocking it down a setting is sufficient for me, and will reduce wear and tear and electricity. I only do bottles and I was able to fit 2 racks in the middle, plus the rack at the bottom that is immovable. Longnecks fit perfect in the middle(6×5), pint cans and shorties at the top(6×5 if all bottles). I do bottle water in the bottom rack(6×3). Since water bottles are a bit squished in there at 6×3 you probably wouldn’t have much luck fitting glass bottles in the space with this config. Also, as I said before its loud. Its not so much the dB of the sound as it is the pitch which seems to carry. I can still easily hear it at night on the other end of the house.Update 2 – Had it for 8 months now and its still on the loud side, but mostly you can ignore it unless you are trying to sleep in the same room with it. New problem has arisen. I turned down the cold a notch to 5 from 6 for the fall and since the day I made the change the fridge has been making loud clunking noises. At first I thought the ice on the coils was melting and dropping, but its not. Its clearly some mechanical issue. Its still working like a week or so later, but the noise this thing makes is crazy loud. It sounds like someone is throwing a porcelain plate on concrete. If I had to guess, I’d say its dying, so I don’t expect it to last much longer.

Great Fridge For My Purposes
This fridge holds mid 60 degree temps excellently and is so quiet I haven’t even noticed it running. At first the drip tray attached to the condenser made some noise, but adjusting it helped significantly. Adding a little 3M tape to pad it has completely silenced it.All that said, I would *not* suggest ordering this fridge for delivery. It is shipped in it’s storage box, which it completely inadequate for the task. The first one I received appeared OK upon box inspection, but had a shattered window. The second had a completely destroyed box, missing the 1″ tall bottom, and was left on my porch upside down by the delivery driver (who split w/o even ringing my doorbell). It wasn’t destroyed, but not for lack of trying.

Larger than expected; not sure about the capacity.
Purchased this cool little fridge (pun only slightly intended) because our kids are getting older and have a habit of sneaking sodas. They’re also not entirely capable of distinguishing between beverages that are adults-only.The lock on the fridge makes it a good choice for us. Since we keep ours on the floor, I do wish that the lock was along the side or on the top of the unit, but that’s a small quibble. The listing highlights a capacity of 126 or so cans, but I’m not entirely sure I believe that. We’ve had maybe close to 96 in there and it was seemed pretty close to full. The interior roof angles down and back so full size cans can’t fill the entirety of the top shelf. And the placing of the grooves for the shelves is not regular, so getting all the shelves evenly spaced is near impossible. Again, small gripe. It’s a great unit that satisfies our needs.

Really nice cooler… does what I wanted it to do
I’m always skeptical with many electronic equipment and appliances. These days, you never know. I can honestly say that this beverage cooler worked out excellently. I didn’t want to get another full fridge for the garage, but like the idea of having cool drinks when working outside, without having to come in. Unlike some other reviews, I can say that this cools drinks maybe too well. LOL!! I had set it on 5, and soon notice that the drinks on the bottom had partially frozen. All good for summertime, as I would drink as it thawed. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5, is the door. The manual claims that the door is reversible, and on the product it appears to be so. The truth is, it is not reversible. I spent over an hour taking it apart after I had moved it, only to find that it is set only to be opened from the left. The screws for the hinge would not work on the opposite side. Also, the product name would be upside down at the top, and the handle would be at the bottom of the door. So those are obvious signs that no matter what the company claims, it just isn’t true. So you have to know what you are ordering ahead of time.Back to the functionality… it really is a great cooler / “fridge.” The only thing to remember is… NO food nor perishables. It does not have a fan to circulate air, thus colder air settles on the bottom. The door works great, and seals up just fine (unlike what some other negative reviews had stated)… so long as you make a conscious effort to actually shut the door, and not just casually fling it shut. Give it a push for good measure, and it seals up just fine. The temperature control is at the top, in an easy to reach, yet inconspicuous location inside. And there is an LED light, which is fine… except that if you have the cooler really full, you won’t see much. One more thing I noticed. The product, like all other brands, makes a number claim of how many beverages it holds. In this case, 126 cans. Sure. In actual fact, yes. BUT… the manual also warns to “not overfill cooler” or it won’t function properly. So, 126 cans is not a good number apparently. Keep it slightly less, so the air can drop inside. That aside… I recommend it. Enjoy!

A COOL Deal
With little reservation I bought this as a replacement for my prior refrigerator in my game room. I liked the fact that this did not have a freezer since I also have an ice maker. Arrived 1 day early and in perfect condition. Just a 1/8″ wider then prior refrigerator so I had do do a bit of trim work, but that was easy. Installed and turned it on, setting for very cool, but not cold. Wow, did it work (and still does) great. Got to 36 degrees easily and that is measured just inside the door. It gets beverages COLD!!! which is what I was looking for. I turned it down one more notch, should not have, and it froze and exploded a soda can. Now that is cold. So I turned it back up a setting. There is one thing to be careful of when using this. If you swing the door closed if has a tendency to bounce off the cabinet leaving it open an inch or so. Make sure to close the door securely after opening. I did have one problem with it. My setup needs to have a door that opens from the right. When I got the unit the door opened from the left. Not a big deal since it is made to allow the door to be moved to the other side. Attempted to change the door and two things happened. I noted that the logo on the bottom of the door would now be upside down on the top of the door. Three of the mounting holes on the left side of the unit were not drilled so I was unable to reattach the door that way. Being concerned with not knowing what was behind the metal where the holes would be drilled, I did not attempt to make new holes. Bummer…. So now I am using it opening from the left which swings back into the direction where you stand when behind the bar. Frustrating but I am going to have to live with it since I am not going to take the time to return it. I recommend this unit with the above mentioned cautions. Followup, it is now September and this little jewel has been all that it was advertised to be. Amazing that I can still reach in for a beverage and get one of that is this cold, just above freezing. I am completely satisfied, with the exception of the door issue noted above.

Careful with Dimensions
Great Refrigerator for the money. My only complaint is that the dimensions in the product description are not accurate. I was careful to find a unit that fit a precise space I had in my bar unit. The product description says this refrigerator is 18.4″ X 18.9″ X 32.4″, The actual height (and what is on the box ) is 33.2″. While that may seem insignificant, its a pretty big deal when you only have 33″ of clearance. To accommodate I had to take off the hinge cover, screw off a leg balancer and make a small wedge in it’s place to stabilize it. It was a bit of a nuisance.

Beverage frig
Some of the very thin water bottles used today tip on the wire shelves. Not the refrigerators fault. It is just a bit noisier than I expected. I also had a little trouble with the numbered dial for temperature. Degrees Fahrenheit would have been easier.

Works but makes some noise
Nice size fridge and moderate price point. I did a lot of research prior to buying. It seems most of these beverage refrigerators are crap. Some, more than others. I read the reviews of bad delivery, noise, gurgling sounds and was hesitant.Delivery was prompt. Box had arrows pointing “up” but driver didn’t care, it was left on the side. I moved inside, unpacked and inspected. All was in good condition and packed really well. Not sure how any damage could occur if other reviewers had same packing as mine. I moved to install location and waited 3 days to allow Freon to settle, manual called for either 2 hours or one day(different specs in different locations)Plugged in and waited a day for temp to stabilize at “4” on dial, where it was preset as per instructions. It didn’t feel cool. I put 70-80 cans in and left for a day to normalize. Lots of gurgling sounds despite unit being perfectly level in all directions. Still not very cold. Moved to “6” waited a day. Better but not cold. Moved to “7” maximum. Cans probably 42-45F. Compressor noise is minimal. Gurgling is noticeable when cooling, which is quiet often. Unit is located in basement bar so ambient temperature is 68-75F. LED light is mostly useless. Would be nice if it were on a door switch and light strip down sides rather than just at top.I waited the entire refund period to be sure I wanted to keep this item. Ultimately I decided to keep. It is probably better than others at a moderate price point.

Great mini fridge
Bought this during Prime week I think, it was a great deal. Very happy I did, it has been perfect as a seltzer/beer fridge for the drinks we don’t want to overcrowd our main fridge with. Super sleek looking, no issues with temperature or noise. Definite recommendation.

Works great and keeps drinks cool. Hopefully it will last. One design flaw is you have to turn on the light by hand and every time I do I change the temperature. Seems like an easy fix though.

Disappointing
This item was ordered on prime day and had a huge discount. Finally I can get a nice small fridge to start a little bar area in my house. Shipping was pretty quick so no complaints there but the box came pretty damaged. I was hoping and praying that they would have packed it well to avoid damage but it looks like I was wrong. The door was bent in multiple places and not even on the fridge. I had to take apart the top hinge to place the door on. The hole on top is dented in so the door sits slightly slanted. I took pictures of multiple dents to show what you may get. I will say it’s not too loud. It does have a noise of course but not enough to truly irritate me. It’s also nice a spacious. I like all the shelf options. I do wish there were stoppers on both sides to keep the shelf in place but oh well. Light inside is nice as well. Thankfully it can be turned on and off. When I plugged it in is instantly starts cooling so we will see how it goes. Just really disappointed in how damaged it came. I return it but I feel like the hassle to put it all back in the damaged box would annoy me more. Hope this helps someone with their decision to purchase.

Cool item
Like other reviewers have mentioned, customer service is excellent and fast… I too got one with a dented corner and it was making strange noises, so I think there’s something happening in either the shipping and/or the packing department … BUT, IVG Stores, which was the supplier I got it from, immediately sent out another one and all I had to do was repack the first one (I kept the original boxes for just in case something like this because I know refrigerators can be tricky to transport and are actually more fragile than a lot of people realize) and then contacted FedEx to do a pick up off my porch for free because IVG created a shipping label for me instantly that I just had to print out and put on the repacked boxes. OK, so the new one appeared on my porch the next day and the first one was taken away, just like that! A small hassle, but not a big problem.I must say it is one good-looking unit. Everybody who has seen it really likes it. The temp is good. It stores a lot of beverages. I like the LED light and since it shines out gently through the glass it is perfect as a night-light in my kitchen. If you throw a lot of parties (I run a 30-person weekly poker tournament), then you owe it to yourself to get something like this… and maybe even this very one! It beats the hell out of a cooler and ice and all those hassles, is more sanitary, more efficient, and much more attractive. “Cool item”FOLLOW UP: I still like it, though it makes more noise than I thought it would… but I’m sensitive to noise, and my house is pretty quiet.

Good product with flaws
Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend it with the caveat to read the cons and decide if the flaws are a deal breaker for you.Pros:Cools cans, and sport drink bottles to an acceptable level – we haven’t tried glass bottles in it yet but I don’t see where that would be an issue.Aesthetically pleasingEasy controls (also in cons)Cons:No display to indicate actual temperature and a dial to choose cool setting but no corresponding temperature value. For us, the maximum cold setting ended up being the best for canned beverages and sport drinks. As other reviews have stated, a bit noisy. There are gurgles and occasional whines audible from 20 feet away in a quiet room but the worst is a random pop sound that is audible from other rooms in the house. We have it in a game room and none of the noise creates a problem for us but I can see where it would very easily be annoying.Overall verdict, if it is going somewhere that the noise it makes during operation won’t bother you then it is a good product at a reasonable price. If it is going into a quiet house or room then a different product may be your best bet.

Just okay…
Let me start off by saying it’s a good size and nicely designed, however, the compressor is definitely not quite. It run more often than I would like but it’s acceptable, I put the setting on “5” which is not the coldest but it runs less, “6” is perfect but it runs more, idk why tho… As far as the number of cans this can hold, I’m a bit skeptical about it, it hold alot but not 126 cans, maybe if they were mini-cans and you removed all the trays, stacked them on each other, that might work. So bottom line, it’s just okay.

Nice value fridge
I purchased this in Oct ’19 and waited a bit to give the review.First, haven’t had a problem since my purchase other than some user errors.Noise. It has a slightly noisy, gurgling coolant moving sounds coming out of it. But it’s been the same consistency of these sounds, not worse. This is not installed within cabinetry. We don’t even give it a second thought anymore.Cooling. Keeps cans and bottles at a nice consistent temperature with the dial at “5” and capacity about 75% full. We like the adjustable shelves to accommodate 12 oz cans, 16 oz cans and 750 ml bottles of your favorite beverages.Things we have noticed, if you have cans pressed against the cooling element in the back they will freeze, especially if the temp is higher than 5 is what I have come across. Lastly the light is not controlled by the door so you pop the switch off and on, and this is where I have inadvertently brushed the temp dial higher causing the freeze up. Overall we like this unit, saves alot over higher priced units.

Great little fridge
Newair ab1200b all blackI just received the fridge 2 days after I ordered it came in perfect condition. Some reviews say the light is kinda bad so I just didn’t block it and it lights up everything fine. I’m still waiting for it to cool everything but I just plugged it in about 15 minutes ago. The compressor sounds like the wind or a breeze and is not loud at all I can only heat it clearly when the rest of the house is dead silent. If the tv or something is on you can’t hear it. I took two of the shelves out, one regular and the half one it comes with to organize it how I wanted. I wanted looks not maximum capacity storage so I went with the drinks standing instead of laying down. The shelves also feel very sturdy and don’t feel like they’re going to bend if it’s fully loaded. Overall I think the fridge is worth about 250-300$ it’s very solid looks amazing and I plan on keeping for a long time. I’ll update in the future if there are any problems

Doesn’t get below 45 degrees
The unit itself is very nice looking. Read a lot of the reviews that mention following the instructions in the manual and we did that exactly. However, the fridge doesn’t get below 45 degrees even on the coldest setting. We made sure the unit is level and we didn’t touch a thing when it was first plugged in. Also, it’s in a room where the ambient temperature is in the low 60s. I’ve tried it empty and full and the temp doesn’t change. If I turn it to the warmest it lets it sit around 50 and the coldest at 45. Planning on asking for a refund/replacement.

Good Value for what we spent
We have had this unit for 4 months now. Like others who have responded, ours also came with perfect packaging but a big dent in the side of the door. Like others, we opted not to return it as it was not noticable in the cabinet we were putting it in. We do not use this for canned drinks. On top shelf which is the equivalent of the 3 shelves with cans laying horizontally in photo, we have 5 deep x 4 wide of beer and two bottle of champagne laying down from back to front of unit. On second shelf we have 5 deep x 6 wide of beer which is equivalent of the next two shelves in photo showing 2 rows of cans vertically. The bottom shelf is only half deep. We have mixers and drink condiments on this shelf. It is adequate for the space we have allowed. It keeps the drinks really cold. One issue…it has been World Cup madness in our house for last month and people have been in and out of it frequently. We had hoped that being able to see into it without opening it would have prevented people from standing with door open staring inside to make up their minds. This has not been the case. It has been between 80 – 90 degrees each day; some with a high degree of humidity. We did get some ice build-up inside it. It is important to check for this frequently if your house is the hangout and has what is probably higher then normal use.

I’ll never be the same.
This refrigerator saved my life. There was a time in my life when I thought all hope was lost. My drinks were warm. My cup was empty. My mouth was dry.You see, the refrigerator in our kitchen was already full of other meaningless items like vegetables and proteins. There was simply no room for refreshments. Even when there was room, it was so far away from our kitchen table (like 6-8 feet).I knew we needed a change. This refrigerator brought the change. Now I can sit at my kitchen table and just reach into a Mary Poppins bag of infinite refreshments (not included with purchase). It’s awesome. I’ll never be thirsty again. The only criticism I have is that it doesn’t include another one to put next to my couch.

My sister says it’s good white noise
I like the overall product however it does come with a few hassles, but take my words with some salt because we have only had the fridge for a week. The fridge emits a high frequency that most people can’t hear but younger ears can, but headphones easily cancel out. It’s primary tone is somewhat loud but it’s not super unpleasant, the sides of the fridge also omit heat. That’s normal for fridges but this fridge can get pretty heated. I overall really like the fridge. I recommend you read the users manual if you buy the fridge, because it has some very helpful information about how to increase air circulation in the fridge with some tips to bring down it’s noise volume.

Gets really cold, if setup properly!
I’ve read many reviews of people complaining about this beverage refrigerator not getting cold enough. Well, after having this for a few weeks, I’m glad to report it is working great. I have two temperature gauges with both reading around 31 degrees as I write this review. Needless to say, this is the coldest I’ve seen it drop, but it doesn’t stay at this temperature. While the temperature does fluctuate a bit, it usually averages around 38-39 degrees. That is more than cold enough for me, and I would assume for most people. So, here’s the thing: if you want this bad boy running at it’s optimal performance and full potential, I suggest one thing; read the manual!Even after reading the manual, however, it does get a little bit noisy at times. But the noise is low and not overbearing, unless your sensitive to refrigerated-type noises. If that’s the case, I suggest placing it in the garage or somewhere where noise won’t be a factor. Also important to note, the less this baby is packed and the more there’s open room for circulation inside, the colder it will get. Of course, as mentioned earlier, if you read the manual step-by-step and follow everything to a T, then you shouldn’t have any problems. In conclusion, read the manual and you’ll not only have a great working beverage machine but a machine that will keep your beverages nice and cold.

Quiet as a mouse & Good looking!
The media could not be loaded.
First things first…my box did arrive damaged. AND therefore, so was my refrigerator. All along the left side of it. I didn’t even notice it at first because it was late at night and it was dark. When I tried returning online it said that the item was not eligible for return. So, I went to chat with a representative on the app. And here is my reasoning for the 5 star rating…it took me less than 5 minutes to resolve my issue. I let them know what happened and they said, “okay, do you want a refund or a replacement?” Of course I wanted a replacement! This fridge is so darling! Their response was, “Your replacement has been ordered, is there anything else that I can do for you tonight?” And that’s how quickly that conversation went!! lol I was in HR for over 21+ years, over half of that, I was in management. And that is the type of service I prayed I could get out of each of my employees!! 🙂 An exceptionally consummate professional! Never have I had anyone take care of anything for me that quickly. And to make matters even more convenient, I don’t even have to return the one I have! I’m like—WHAT?! I feel like I’m stealing. I’ve never had to return anything before and I’ve been shopping forever with Amazon, and I can honestly say, this was such a pleasant experience, to say the least! So, for the fridge itself…haha! It’s such a perfect size for a small area. I needed to replace my small old one that I had in my bedroom. I hate going to the kitchen at night when I am thirst and I saw this and couldn’t pass it up. I love that you can see everything inside. Makes my OCD work overtime, but it’s okay. lol Completely worth it.I’ve seen complaints about the noise, I can barely hear mine. However, I did READ THE MANUAL. lol You do need to let it sit for at least 2 hours prior to plugging it in for the first time. And allow the temp to stabilize for 24 hours before using it. And finally, after it’s plugged up, let it run for at least 30 minutes before filling it OR changing the temp! I think I’m doing these things, you’ll find that this refrigerator is literally quite as a mouse! You may need to trouble shoot if you have noise. Like maybe making it level by adjusting the feet or moving it away from the wall, if it’s too close. (I had to do both of these things to mine!) Basically, it needs ventilation and cannot be too close to another surface. So, you need to allow for proper air clearance around it.Sides: 3/4”Top: 4”Back: 2”The manual does state that it should NOT be built into surrounding cabinetry. So, proceed with caution, if you plan on doing this. If it’s not level or not getting enough ventilation, it WILL MAKE NOISE! And a lot of it! lol Otherwise, it doesn’t make ANY NOISE AT ALL!Also, if things are not getting cold enough, make sure that there’s enough ventilation. Same thing applies here too. Not inside, but outside the fridge! And you don’t necessarily need to put the temp higher. Inside, make sure you store your drinks away from the rear wall and don’t overfill it.Overall, I think this is an amazing price for such a good looking fridge. I’m really glad I made this purchase! I have nothing but great things to say about it and even more amazing things to say about Amazon!

Excellent quality and very affordable!
Excellent quality at a very affordable price. We let it sit for 2 days after receiving it before we plugged it in. Once plugged in we waited a day before grabbing a water out with the temp set at 6. Water was nice and cold. LED light works great but does not turn automatically. It has an on off switch. Looks great lit up. Would buy again for sure.

Not a good buy!
I was so excited to get a beverage frige so I could free up our main refrigerator for actual food. The reality was terribly disappointing. It arrived in great time and the packaging was really well done with multiple layers cardboard and polystyrene. But from the moment I opened the box though and found an extremely poorly manufactured appliance, I was let down. The stainless steel door frame was dented and scratched, the defrost tray was half hanging off the back, the cold plate was screwed on crooked, and the black interior was scratched. I was planning to keep it anyway because most of the flaws were cosmetic and I propped the defrost tray up so it would hold the run-off. I could tell the condition of the appliance was done at the manufacture level because the packaging was not damaged. I really hated the idea of packing it back up and going through the trouble of getting it shipped back. I mean it’s 70 pounds. So anyway, it seemed to work ok to begin with. I really liked the LED interior lighting. I liked that I could adjust the shelving so easily to accomodate larger bottles. But by week three, it was no longer keeping the drinks cold all the time. So I sent it back and this time I’m trying the Danby which is about the same size and $100 cheaper.Again this arrived in good time in really good packaging, but I think this was previously used and refurbished because, again, the stainless door frame was scratched up and the interior showed residue of previous use. Also, the glass door is slightly scratched. What is wrong with these manufacturers?!? $200 to $300 is a lot of money for the average family! They certainly don’t respect their consumers. I do have to say that the general quality of the Danby is much better than the $100 more expensive Newair. The door on the Danby is of sturdier construction, the cooling apparatus is very well made, I love that the Danby’s interior light comes on when you open the door instead of having to flip the switch each time like on the Newair. The Danby’s cold plate runs down the back almost to the bottom as well as it having an interior fan to move the cool air around (unlike the Newair which had the smaller cold plate crooked towards the top only). I also like the wire shelves have a black plastic coating which has a nicer look. All in all, I was not happy with the Newair. I would not buy it again.

Great for craft beer
I bought this fridge for my husband Christmas 2022. So far it has been working well and he is able to fit a decent amount of craft beer as well as regular height beer cans in this fridge. You do need to rearrange the shelves a bit in order to fit the taller cans but for what he wanted it for, it works. The temp has been keeping steady but we also made sure to let it sit for a while once it arrived before plugging it in. May be a little loud if you are keeping it in area where you are Al the time, like a kitchen or dining room, but it doesn’t bother us as we keep it in the basement bar area. Would recommend if you are looking for an affordable beer fridge.

Keeps drinks cold
The fridge is overall pretty good. I like the way that it looks, you can customize the shelving to what you want/your needs. The shelves are an odd size, in the fact that you cant actually load them up in perfect rows if you care about that. You either put enough cans in a zigzag pattern to maximize the space available or you put them in rows but leave what feels like a lot of unused space. It will keep drinks cold but will take a long time to get them there (think at least a full 24 hours). Once the drinks are chilled its fantastic at keeping them that way.I would recommend this to anyone looking to get a beverage fridge for cans/bottles and you want it to look nice and professional.**UPDATE**A year into owning this fridge it just quit. The interior light started blinking on and off but it wouldn’t cool worth a lick. I made sure it had plenty of room around the exterior for cooling and evaporation. I also made sure that the back of the fridge was clean and not clogged with dust/hair. Nothing would get it to cool. I called their customer service who with very minimal description on my part said it was the temperature probe/thermostat that needed to be replaced. They said they would happily replace it for free if I wrote them a positive review. The first customer service agent then never sent the order for the part so I had to call them back and do it all over again a week later. When the part arrived it was easy to install. I do think its a total design flaw though. They ship the fridge from the factory pretty much designed to fail. The connection between the thermostat and the circuit board basically hangs in the fridge behind the cooling coils. It WILL corrode and need to be replaced. When they send the replacement they send some of the aluminum tape so you can shove the connection into the hole towards the circuit board and tape it off from the cooling/moist elements of the fridge. I don’t know if they designed it this way on purpose to try and fish for positive reviews or if its a known issue that they figure they can profit off of. Either way you will probably need to fix it a year or so into owning.Since being fixed it is running/cooling well. I still like the way that it looks and the temperature at which it keeps the drinks cold.

Pretty good warehouse buy
Got it about 30% cheaper getting a warehouse return. All it has is a small dent on the front edge. No cool if you’re gonna show this off, but mine is tucked away in the basement so no prob for me. I let it sit for 12+ hours after delivery (it only says it needs to sit for 2). It cools, but nothing impressive. Dial is 1-7, and at 4 it only got to low 50s. I have it on 7 and the top rack is about 40 and the bottom is 38. Good enough but don’t expect impressive cooling power. Those putting this in a cabinet are making their own problems. It’s not built to be installed, just a freestanding unit.

Works BUT | Storage is HALF of advertised 126 cans | Fridge is loud | Poor design decisions
EXPECTATION: Store 126 cans.REALITY: You can only realistically use 3 shelves of the 5 at a time to store cans, unless you’re storing them sideways. The instructions also clearly state to not overfill the fridge, and to not push cans to the back, otherwise airflow is reduced (there are no fans) and there will be frost buildup (along with uneven cooling). With that in mind, this fridge can only realistically hold about HALF of the stated 126 cans. 63 cans is still nice, but nowhere near the advertised amount.EXPECTATION: The fridge is silent / makes minimal noise.REALITY: I set up the fridge making sure it was level, left it upright for 24 hours before turning it on, and after turning it on did not put anything in it or adjust any settings for another 24 hours. The fridge is set up in an area with over a foot of space on every side. When the fridge kicks on to cool, it makes an EXTREMELY loud humming noise, and a whirring noise. Once it reaches the desired temperature, it kicks off and is completely silent. Unfortunately, the noise it does make is so loud we absolutely cannot put this in a room where we want to watch TV/movies, have conversations, relax, etc., It is annoying and headache inducing. This is absolutely NOT a quiet fridge, and any expectation of silence should be tempered, despite what is advertised.EXPECTATION: The fridge was designed to store Cans specifically.REALITY: There are some really poor design decisions for cans. Including:- The bottom “shelf” is really a metal cage you have to carefully fit cans in, usually putting them in horizontally and then flipping them. To compound this problem, the metal “cage” has sharp edges — I have punctured a number of cans already trying to get them in and out of this area. It makes absolutely ZERO sense to have this kind of “cage” for storing aluminum cans and is anything but convenient. I’ve resorted to putting plastic bottles here sideways because I can’t risk puncturing and spilling a cans contents everywhere.- The second shelf from the bottom is not a full metal rack shelf, but half metal rack that “rests” on the plastic backing. Unfortunately, the plastic backing portion is higher than the front plastic rests, so this shelf is always tilted frontward. Every time I shut the door, put a can in, take a can out, etc., EVERYTHING that resides on this shelf slips forward. Sometimes cans easily fall off the shelf and out of the fridge. Another wacky decision I absolutely don’t understand.Ultimately, this fridge does a fine job at cooling canned beverages, and I cannot complain about the primary functionality. However, pretty much everything else about it is really frustrating.UPDATE: 2 months later and the fridge has settled in and makes less noise than it did at the start, so I’m happy about that. Unfortunately, I’ve encountered two large design flaws and updated my review. I will not be returning my fridge, but I also can’t recommend anyone buy this.

I Doubt This Fridge Comfortably Holds 126 Cans Of Beverages & Keeps Them All Equally Cold
It says that this fridge can hold 126 cans. But, really, the instruction manual contradicts that because it warns you in so many words to not fill it so much to where the cans will be blocking “the cooling fans” that are inside the fridge. I have not seen any fans in there. Just thick plastic layers of cold, whatever they are, inside the fridge. I don’t know where the fans are so I can avoid blocking them & the manual doesn’t say where the fans are. I am also mislead on the same token, where the image & picture here on Amazon shows that this fridge is packed full to the gills, left, right, front to back & center with beverage cans. Yet, again, as I mentioned earlier, that it says in the manual, to not block the cooling fan(s) so that all the beverages can stay cool. So I know, or have no doubt, that this fridge can handle 126 cans of beverages on it’s face value, but can it really hold that much if the manual says that the owner needs to tone down the amount that goes into the fridge since the owners manual warns to not block the cooling fans inside the fridge? I am confused! A picture here on Amazon of this fridge being packed to capacity with cold can beverages, but the owner’s manual says to not do that & to leave room for the cooling fans to circulate in the fridge to assure that all the beverages equally remain cold & that no cans will be blocking the fans to impede upon those cooling fans from doing their jobs in making sure that you drinks remain cold & frosty at all times.I had a “Magic Chef” refrigerator & it held less & it had a small freezer at the top & the thing leaked & dripped & a pool of melted ice & water rested on the bottom level of the inside of the fridge, so this mini fridge here is a step up from that Magic Chef nightmare fridge & just 86’d. I wish the owner’s manual would say precisely how many cans of beverages should be on each shelf & which ones need to be standing up vertically & which cans would be best suited laying down horizontally on the shelf as it describes in that picture.I drink 1 liter bottles of Dr. Pepper so I not only put cans of soda into my mini fridge here, but can comfortably fit about 8 of the 1 liter bottles of drinks on any given shelf as well. The plastic bottles take up more room than the aluminum cans, so that dramatically drops the capacity of beverages down quite a bit if you plan on putting 1 liter bottles into this mini fridge. But, overall, this is a pretty good mini fridge despite the misleading picture depicting the mini fridge being packed to the rafters with beverages & then the owner’s manual refuting that pictorial claim by rebutting it with suggesting to not fill it that full & to leave room for the cooling fans. But, this thing is an Okay buy, I guess. …Better than my messy, watery, drippy Magic Chef mini fridge!

Has minor issues, but may be just OK………….
Well, it may be better than OK, but the jury is out, as I just received it last night and just started it about 2 hours ago. I did find a couple of issues, however.First, it arrived with the catch tray for the evaporation from the cooling coil misallocated and broken, with a 1 inch hole in it. However, the pieces were in the bottom of the unit, so I used RTV Silicone gasket sealer, along with the broken pieces, to fix it. I also called Amazon to report it, and as I was willing to fix it and keep it, Amazon gave me an $87.50 refund for the damage! Go Amazon! The next issue was the door, which is made similar to most refer units, so that one can remove the hinges, move them to the other side, & have the door open in the reverse direction. But, the makers obviously didn’t think anyone would actually do this, as it is necessary to turn the door upside down when doing this to get the holes in the door on the same side as the hinges. This would be no big deal, were it not for the fact that they have glued they’re logo onto the front of the door’s glass, and now that I reversed the door, that logo is upside down, and at the top of the door, where it’s very obvious. I’ll attempt to remove it and glue it back on right side up, but not until I’m sure the unit is sound and won’t need to be returned. Also, the door has a recessed handle for opening that is supposed to be on the top edge of the door. Reversing the door has put this handle at the bottom. Were I using this sitting on the floor, that would mean the handle is all the way down at the bottom near the floor! Fortunately, for me, I had planned to use this on a shelf, and that puts the handle at about waist height. So, in my situation, it wasn’t a problem. For other folks, wishing to place the unit on the floor and needing to reverse the door, it will be a small problem. However, were it eliminated all together, one cold still easily open the door by simply grabbing its edge. The handle is mostly a silly gimmicky afterthought, in the first place.Perhaps my biggest concern, though, is a strange, almost gurgling noise that the unit makes while running. It has become a bit less pronounced since it’s been running, and may eventually fade away. Or, it may be indicative of a serious problem that could see the compressor, or the motor, failing in a short time. So, I may have an update to this review in future. Stay tuned!

temperature sensor went out a year after purchase, Newair sending a replacement
I purchased this fridge for our Airbnb while it was still under renovation trying to have all appliances when we were ready for them. The home has been on airbnb and rented since April of this year. Thus the fridge has been in use for about 4 1/2 months. Yesterday was one year since I placed my order. When I got to the airbnb to clean it yesterday, the fridge was working for a little while then I walked by it and noticed the glass was foggy, I opened the fridge to find all beverages that had been cold, warm. I turned off the unit and left it off overnight. Today it was still not working when I tested it. The light inside was blinking three times. I completely killed power to the unit in an attempt to get it to reset only to have it still not working nearly two hours later. I am quite disappointed that for nearly $300 this fridge did not even last a year, thus the one star. I plan to reach out to the manufacturer after I finish this review to see if there is any other tricks I could try.edit: I increased my rating because I contacted Newair and they say they will send me a new temperature sensor. Service was great. Still sad it went out but thankful they are providing the part to get it working again.

The perfect gift.
This was a gift to my sister and brother in law for Christmas. It took me awhile to review this because I wanted to get their input. One of the reason why I got them this was because I wanted them to have a place for their drinks. Usually my brother in law would just put his beers in a small cooler. When I saw this…I knew this will be the perfect gift for them. When they opened our gift to them. They were so excited and blessed. They even said why they didn’t get this themselves sooner. It saves so much space and helps them keep it organized and clean. It’s very quiet. Sometimes you don’t realize it’s even there. It’s just how amazing how much drinks you can put here. This really made us very pleased to give them this year. Seeing how much this helped make us really happy. So happy we can make a difference.Thank you Amazon for making me feel like Santa and you as the elf.

Looks great, has some durability and noise issues.
I guess I got what I paid for. While it looks sleek and expensive, you can definitely tell it is cheaply made in comparison to other models. I have 2 mini fridges and they do not compare. The metal shelves have bent due to the weight of the drinks, the noise is constant and loud, and the unit does not get cold enough.Buy this if you are tight on money or dont want to splurge and dont care about these things. If I were to do it again I would have spent the extra money to get a better one.

VERY IMPRESSED SO FAR
I recently purchased this NewAir beverage refrigerator cooler. I also purchased a stand that would keep the refrigerator off of my carpet, and I also purchased a drip tray to protect my carpet as well. After I plugged in the refrigerator cooler, I set the thermostat to level 7, which should cool this refrigerator down to about 36° or 37°. The inside temperature started at 80°, and it only took a few hours to get cool down to 37°. I gave the temperature control 4 out of 5 stars, only because it would’ve been nice to have a digital readout. Other than that, the noise level and style of this refrigerator is fantastic.I can definitely hear the compressor when it’s running, but when it reaches the desired temperature, it will only come on after you open the refrigerator to retrieve a beverage, or if the temperature inadvertently goes above the desired temperature range. Even though I can hear it, the noise level is negligible.I highly recommend this refrigerator beverage cooler, especially for a home office like mine, or an area where you want to keep drinks cold.

A beautiful fridge, however the functionality struggles.
Summary: Beautiful fridge, however get a thermometer to make sure your temps are ok. Fridge struggles to maintain a temperature and varries from 35 F to 43 F (and my room is kept at 69 so if yours is warmer definitely get a thermometer)Fridge looks great and I am pretty happy with it! However, the temperature issues other people talk about are no lie. Over a 24 hour period, the temperature has been as high as 43 degrees F, and as low as 35 F which you can see in attached pictures. I had the fridge at the coldest setting so it averages a good temperature, however when its on the warmer side its not good. FDA says temps above 40 can have bacteria growth. These temps are ridiculous considering my room is kept at a constant 69 degrees. My house is colder than the average house so I wonder if people who keep a house warmer will run into issues?Fridge is a little on the louder side but it’s not terrible.I would be a little weary about keeping very sensitive items in the fridge.

Mine lasted 9 years and died last night. …sob…sob….
I loved having this fridge. I am going to try and make it great again. If the back gets too frosty, the ice starts to make very loud cracking sounds. I thought this was a problem with the unit but I used my common core math and gender studies degree to deduce that it was just the ice. Very happy with my purchase, tho of course I wish it lasted 20 years instead of 9. I paid two hundred and seventy-nine dollars in the year two thousand and fourteen.UPDATE: I am happy to report that after my fridge died i was able to make it great again. I switched out the 1 Pin Refrigerator Starter Relay and Overload Protector and now it is working!! Too bad we cant help Biden…

Doors aren’t truly reversible
We just received this cooler and took it out of the packaging. It’s very nice looking and spacious inside. We’ve yet to run it so I can’t comment (yet) on function. I will say, you are supposed to be able to switch the door from left to right sided, but in doing this the logo on the door is upside down. The space where our cooler will go makes right sides access much more convenient. There’s no good way to fix this, as far as I can tell. The logo seems to be held on with adhesive so I might try to remove and flip the door…but that’s a little frustrating.

Looks good and worked well…for a year and a half.
This beverage cooler is exactly what I wanted. The size is perfect, it fits lots of bottles and cans of different sizes. I’ve read reviews about how not to pack it too full so I made spacers to keep in back so I don’t overload it. All the shelves are adjustable so you can configure it to your needs. It is quieter than my two old mini fridges. I can hear the compressor when it runs but it is nice and quiet. I placed it inside my man cave shed/garage that is not temperature controlled. I have the cooler set on 5 and that keeps my beer nicely chilled. I can fit 20oz Gatorade bottles, 16oz Coors aluminum beer bottles and water bottles, 12oz cans and 16oz glass beer bottles. They are all multiple sizes and I had to split them between the 2 old mini fridges. Now I combined them into one and I still had room left over even with the spacers I placed in the back of each shelf. This cooler exactly fit my wants and needs. I would recommend this cooler to anyone.Update: this cooler worked very well until it took a dump on me after a year and a half. Luckily I bought the warranty and I got a full refund. I’ll be looking for a different brand of beverage cooler.

Very Loud
This is the second NewAir Beverage Refrigerator Cooler that I have owned. The first one lasted several years and we were happy with it. When it stopped working, I ordered another one exactly the same. Although this one looks the same and keep drinks cool, it is very, very loud. It makes a gurgling, swooshing sound that you can hear all over my house. One reviewer said it sound got better over time, but we have had this unit for a couple of months and it has not improved. I would like to return it but no packaging and wouldn’t know where to begin that process even if I had time. Unless you plan to keep it outside, I cannot recommend this fridge…way too loud.

Good fridge for he price
I have this fridge for around 9 months now, arrive right on time before pandemic lockdown it has been one of my survival tools hehehe.I have it on a corner on my living room that has carpet, so far it hasn’t wet the carpet. On this 9 month I have had to change defrost it only once after the first 3 months. I notice that once frost/ice is build up it doesn’t cool enough. It has 7 leves of coldness and I have it in number 6, cooling down to 49 degrees F on the top shelve and 44 degrees at the bottom. What could be improved:1- The internal light is weak and because it is on top as soon as you fill the top shelve the rest of the fridge looks dark2- There is only one way to level it, under the door hinge there is adjustment thingStill, for the price is a good beverage fridge I do recommend it

Great for the price, but some small quality issues
Works great, stays cold. Drinks in the back will start to freeze if you set it too cold, but I’d rather have that option than not getting cold enough. The glass door is modern looking but usually cold to the touch. Sometimes I get condensation on the outside of the glass when its humid- so the doors are not insulated well. The wire shelves it comes with sag in the middle when they’re not even half filled, which makes it look pretty cheap. The whole fridge wall is slotted to customize the shelf spacing, except an annoying space in the middle where you’d want a shelf. The LED light inside is a dim, bluish light that barely illuminates the top two shelves. It adds a little pop to the look at night but doesn’t provide much practical light, and doesn’t help to show contents in a lit room. Lastly, get a pan for underneath because there isn’t one, and when the frosts melts off the coil in the back you’ll have little pools of water underneath. Update: It clunks periodically on setting 5, turned it back up to 6 and it stopped. 7 Froze a can in the back.

Quality fridge
I bought this fridge for my husband’s birthday. He wanted a beer fridge for his 40th birthday. It has held up well with no issues. We have had the fridge now for a year & a half and it has worked perfectly with no issues. It’s very nice looking too. Highly recommend this brand.

Arrived damaged
Now granted it works, maybe a little noisy, not sure if that is from the damage or not. They offered me a replacement but I have to cut the cord off the original and I don’t want to put any more stuff in the landfill than I have to. How about I cut the cord off after the new one arrives and I can ensure that it works and isn’t damaged. I’m worried the next refrigerator will show up damaged again and may be worse than the first one. But I have to show proof I cut the cord off the first one. I guess I’ll just keep the original one. Love paying for something that arrives damaged and they don’t want it back, just throw it away. Just frustrated with the way this company operates what difference does it make if I cut the cord off you don’t want it back. I will never order an item like this from amazon again.

Upgrade your shipping method or it will come damaged!!!
**Upgrade your shipping option or it will probably come damaged. Just read other reviews and you will know I am right.Item is just ok. It was a little bigger than others for the price I got it for. And reviews a little better than comparable ones.ProsDoes get temperature low enough for drinks.Good size, looks good.Cons-Packaging for shipping is not strong enough to handle UPS shipping method used. You’ll be lucky to get yours undamaged. My first one was damaged beyond repair. The shipping was upgraded for the second one and it had no shipping damage.-Company should realize by now that packaging doesn’t stand up to standard UPS shipping. Either they file UPS claims instead of better packaging, or they aren’t bright enough to figure it out from their reviews. Which is it?-Having soda cans near the back will sometimes cause them to freeze (The cooling is done along the back)-Can’t stock it like it shows in the photo.-Set mine on 6.5 out of 7 on the dial and the thermometer I have near the front usually reads between 39 and 40 degrees. ( On 7 things near the back froze too easy. Still can freeze on 6.5)-Amazon entry is misleading. The photo of the one that is within the cabinet space is a different model that costs roughly double. This model can’t go in a cabinet space due to lack of ventilation.-Takes a long time to cool down (1/2 to 1 day for a full load) after loading a good amount of items in it.-Could be quieter but wasn’t expecting much since it is a cheaper model.
