Solid tv for the price but utterly infuriating interface
I’ve been trying for hours to calibrate this TV and I’m still at square one. I still can’t get HDR turned on for any connected device- mainly my xbox one- xbox registers 4k but cannot get HDR to register no matter how I try.Solid picture, until it changes- somewhat arbitrarily. Sleek and nice looking television, but the “settings” options are not user friendly in the slightest. Perhaps one well versed in tv tech would laugh at my struggles, but 100%- the default interface is just not good. Sounds okay, even without a sound bar- not top tier, but as I said, the settings interfaces are downright maddening to navigate.

Was not 55″
Was not 55″ was only 47″ I already had a 47″ Samsung smart TV Purchased in 2012. Speakers on this had gone bad. So when purchasing this new one I decided to go a bit larger and get a 55″. When we unboxed TV from what stated 55″ on the outside we took out TV and installed. Then looking at it on the same TV stand I realized it didn’t look any larger. Upon measuring both TVs they both measured right at 48″ overall. I know an inch should still measure an inch. Why is it not 55″

Super picture
It takes a few minor settings tweaks to get a good bright picture, but once there the picture is amazing. For me the secret is to turn off all the “picture clarity” options and all of the energy saving functions. The picture clarity darkens the picture considerable even with backlight maxed out. I also find that best picture is obtained when the source (cable box, Apple TV) are set to output 4K SDR not 4K HDR. Anything HDR darkens the picture such that it is unusable in a lighted room.

Marvelous Picture—Some Annoying Quirks
I absolutely love this tv! It has some of the best picture quality I have ever seen from tv shows (new and old), movies (cgi and live action), and video games are all stunning with vivid details and color. My very minimal qualms are that the tv regularly becomes slow over a course of a week because it does not close out all the apps; even if you turn off the tv like normal. It’s extremely annoying when you realize this is why it’s slowing down your video games you’re playing. It drives me nuts sometimes. Plus there is no intuitive way to ‘close out’ all the apps.Samsung makes you completely restart the whole tv with a hard restart; it’s nothing like closing apps on your phone in a slight gesture. I don’t understand why it is so complicated, but it is.My other qualm is their interface is horrible compared to Roku or Amazon Fire Tv. It’s the same annoying one they’ve had since my mother bought a Samsung tv in 2014. It’s ridiculous. Samsung, please upgrade this. It’s so counterintuitive to make the best TVs on the market but not have a well thought out interface. It’s bonkers to me.But all in all, I bought the tv for its picture quality— and that I can say is well worth it.

Excellent TV for money
Likes: easy to setup since I already had account with Samsung .Its much easier to connect with internet if you use Ethernet connection .The weight of TV was little surprising when I set the tv up myself ,much easier if you use two.Packing was outstanding for great protection and preservation in shipping .I used SMART THINGS APP of Samsung and calibrated tv with my IPhone and it was an outstanding and easy setup.Picture quality is beautiful ,sound I use Yamaha receiver and connectivity was flawless .DIRECTV 4K channels are so beautiful .Electronics of Samsung is a perfect choice you cannot go wrong .I highly recommend this Tv even though they say it’s mid range .Watching tv at a slight angle was unnoticeable of any flaws .Overall I give this Tv ease of assembly A+,Picture quality A+,Sound A,Remote you will lose because it is small if not careful but it serves its purpose .Amazon delivery was handled with care and excellent .

Screen very reflective
Did an automatic update as soon as turned on. Sound is pretty good. Voice control via remove is great or just tell Alexa. BUT, the screen reflects nearby objects when room is bright. You have to create a Samsung account which was a bit of a hassle, but I love the TV, brilliant picture, pretty good sound, can even access the internet and add lots of apps. You don’t need a soundbar with this tv, BUT there is no “audio out” or “in” so you canNOT add your own speakers for surround, for instanced. Samsung makes you buy one of their soundbars if you want to enhance the sound.

Great picture and everything, but WILL NOT STAY PAUSED
I admit this is driving me a bit up the wall haha. I like this TV and I won’t be returning it for this or anything, but I will be purchasing a chromecast or fire stick or something because this television was clearly not actually intended to be used as a smart tv. I say this because no matter what you do, if you pause a video on youtube, in a few minutes it will find a way to unpause and play it for you. It doesn’t matter if you press the home button so you’re no longer even IN the youtube app, don’t worry, it will open it back up and play it full volume for you at random!! how thoughtful when I’m trying to pause it to take a work call, very professional hahaha. the bluetooth connection to headphones is also very spotty and it won’t automatically reconnect when you turn the tv off and back on, which you are required to do instead of pausing if you don’t want to be jumpscared every few minutes by it randomly unpausing. I only use headphones, not the tv sound, so that’s unfortunate for me.the picture and everything is great, no problems with that. basically, as long as you don’t want to use anything bluetooth to connect to the tv I think you’re fine. I’m pretty sure the bluetooth connection is also what’s causing the pausing problem, so it’s all interconnected. Love the picture though! Just wish I could pause, I didn’t know I would miss it so much until I couldn’t do it anymore. But I should be able to get an external device to play youtube so I’ll still get the great picture without the crappy “smart” tv portion. I just wish the whole package worked without adding on other stuff, it would have been really nice, you know? But I’ll settle for really really nice looking picture and make do. Just wanted to warn other bluetooth headphone users what to expect.

Best TV I have had to date!!
I have had 40″ Sony’s, 50″ Samsung’s and my last one was 58″ Samsung. I like the Samsung because they come with many free wifi channels that I can switch to as I please. I purchased this 65″ Samsung Q70C because of the price, size and positive reviews on Amazon. The reviews were right on. I have this setup in a very bright den with many windows and a vaulted ceiling. This TV fits the room perfectly and the picture is perfect and bright. I set the contrast at 50, Brightness at 30, color at 25 and my wife and I are enjoying the best TV views for this room we have ever had. Our main viewing is streaming with the Roku Express which I believe is the only blue-tooth Roku and we use the Roku Remotes or the GE Color Select Backlit Universal remotes which we purchased from Amazon ,since the remote for this TV is so bad as the Amazon reviews stated. Fortunately, this TV remote is easily replaced and is the only bad thing about this TV.

Disaster
My SagaI bought the Samsung 65-inch Class QLED in mid-September. Two weeks later it stopped working. I called Samsung and they said they would send a technician over which took about two weeks (granted I was away on travel for five days). After chatting with the appliance company, I sent them photos of what the screen was doing so that they could bring the right parts. But when the service technician got there, he replaced the parts but the TV did not work. He said the display failed. He said that he would have to come back with a new display that took another two weeks. He came back change the display and it still didn’t work, claiming that the display he had was bad. I called Samsung again and they said they would initiate an exchange. The exchange would take 10 to 15 days. Then they informed me that it would be at least until Nov. 27 before they would call to set up delivery of an exchanged TV. I got an appointment for delivery on December 6. And it was delivered. It’s not that the staff was at fault or bad. The appliance company was very accommodating- they came on-time. Samsung staff always responded with texts and emails. The two-delivery people were very helpful. They put it together and set it up.The problem is Samsung’s process that it takes so long to get this completed. The Samsung policy with a product this new should be an immediate credit or immediate exchange. Now to the product:The Home Screen is terribly designed, not intuitive and quite ugly. The remote is full of advertising buttons and it has a bad design compared to older ones that had this nice curve design that fit well in your hand. Worst of all the remote cannot control audio when you are using the optical output- and I even have a Samsung soundbar! Switching between connected device is slow.I would have expected more for $1,000.

Very pleased with the performance gain
Never bought a TV from Amazon before, but this was a decently pleasant experience. The first TV we ordered had some visual noise/blurring after 2 weeks of use. Called support and they sent a replacement right away and I only had to box the 1st one and send it back in. It’s been over a month now with the replacement and it’s a phenomenal experience. 120hz refresh rate is a game changer when viewing movies as images are able to be viewed as intended. Picture quality is amazing and very crisp. I don’t care for the HDR as we live in an apt. that has some seriously superb naturally lighting that is very difficult to evade with extreme countermeasures. My wife and I have a rewatched so many movies and shows already as it’s a new experience vs. a 60 hz refresh rate TV. Very happy with this purchase and hope it holds well for at least 3 years.

Samsung 65in QLED 4K
This is my short review of this TV, its my first time to own a 4K QLED, so from standard HDTV to a 4K QLED 65in is something new and upgrade version and of course this one is better and good picture than my old TV and since this is my first, I can’t say this 4K is better than my older 4K, I like the screen thickness its very slim I think half an inch thick, slim bezel, so there is no bulky thick tv and using it on a stand is just right and this is also perfect for hanging it in the wall. Features are good, using its own OS is good runs Netflix, amazon with no complaint, I used an AppleTV 4K so I don’t worry about the internal OS, the only thing not so impressive with this TV is the built-in speaker sound, maybe because the slim design so the speaker is also slim that affect the sound, Samsung must improve their design on their internal speaker sound but maybe they assume that all users prefer to have an external subwoofer-speaker system so they don’t much give improvement on internal sound. I also don’t mind the internal speaker cuz I prefer my old Sony speaker bar with subwoofer and I’m fine with it. All of us have different preferences, requirement and budget, this TV may met your standard or not, Overall recommend this QLED TV and try to shop around like bestbuy and see the actual picture/video quality vs if just looking any reviews from youtube. Additional info. it doesn’t mean you will get a big TV its good for your room, check your sofa/bed distance from the TV to get a good quality view.

Samsung Sweet Spot
I’ve had a string of Samsung Smart TVs, of which this is the latest. It has an excellent picture, as far as I’m concerned. And I like the Samsung Smart Hub. If you watch some TV reviews on YouTube, you’ll discover this isn’t a highly rated TV in its class. There are others in this price range that are evidently a better value. Okay, but I wanted a Samsung and this was the one I’d been looking at for a while. If I’d paid full retail price maybe I’d be worried that I overpaid. But I got a nice Super Bowl discount and the TV was delivered to my house for free. I see it as a great value. Others may be looking for something else.

Good TV with Gaming hub and plenty of modern user interfacing to use apps, etc.
I have this and a larger Samsung TV that was NEO QLED. This one is surprisingly more responsive from user input and the picture is great thus far. We got this to replace a Vizio that lasted 12 years. We are hoping this one lasts more. Lots of possibilities for gaming from the gaming hub make these newer TVs perfect universal entertainment centers.Notes: They don’t include mounting screws which is ridiculous IMO. I knocked a star due to this. One has to research, order, and wait for their screws from a 3rd party.

I love the tv but I wish I could delete all the unnecessary apps and adjust the brightness on it I had to lower it down cause it was hurting our eyes the ps5 looks amazing on it I haven’t tried the xbox yet but the tv remote is extremely sensitive so if you sit or lay on it it could change the volume or channel depending how you hit it which sucks lol.

Great TV
I ordered this 65” Samsung as part of Amazons Prime Days sale. The TV is great. Very modern and thin with several HDMI ports for accessories. The picture is great and the set up was pretty easy. It didn’t take long to go through the wizard and add all my apps and streaming services. We use DirectTV streaming and the app works great along with all the others. We also purchased a Samsung soundbar with subwoofer and the set up with the TV was super easy and paired immediately. Only giving 4 stars because the delivery was terrible. You set up the delivery date after purchase and it was a week, not Prime. That would have been fine but on my date of delivery (which I needed to work at home for) they didn’t show up and they didn’t even notify me. The next day no communication either! They finally acknowledged they didn’t show up and my next delivery date was almost 10 days later. Took 3 weeks for a Prime delivery, clearly they were just trying to sell TVs but anyway, the product is good. Recommend the Samsung soundbar and sub as well.

Great TV, so glad I got it on sale the week before the Super Bowl. My mother has macular degeneration and this tv allowed to see the game better than the old tv would have ever done. Great Picture but horrible sound
The picture is awesome! The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is the sound is pretty bad. I think they used an old recycled phone speaker and put it in a tin can to act as an amplifier. Considering my 3 year old lower class Samsung model has great sound, I was rather surprised. You will want a soundbar for this or connect it through a stereo system, unless of course you are hearing impaired and use closed captioning.

Sharp image!
Very sharp image and good connectivity to peripherals like sound systems. Only downside is occasional flickering when turning it on (goes black screen in and out for like 4 seconds). I’m assuming it’s the software because Samsung is awful at TV software. But it’s a small temporary thing and not a deal breaker for me!

Love the beautiful picture!
This is my first 65” 4K tv, it’s replacing my 60” Samsung HD that I’ve owned for 9 years and I couldn’t believe the difference in picture quality and color, I love the beautiful picture, the only thing that I didn’t like was having to learn how to use the new little remote with hardly any buttons on it, but I did figure it out, and I wish they still had the swivel stand like on my old 60” Samsung, but overall the picture quality is night and day better!

Great Picture Quality TV
I bought this TV to replace a 50” TCL with a larger 65” option. This has been great. No issues with picture quality or refresh rate. Was very easy to set up. Only thing I’ll note is the TV is very thin so picking it up to mount it on a wall makes you feel nervous because you feel you might bend it too much. Definitely recommend this in this price range.

Amazing TV with a terrible remote.
I finally had to replace my Samsung curved 55” and I went with this model based on the specs, price and size. We play the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 on this TV and it’s quality for gaming is very solid. The picture quality is great and the HDR is a dream. I had to reset the TV once due to some picture artifacts that I couldn’t correct manually, but that could be more on me. One of my biggest complaints is the remote control. I have no idea why Samsung would ship this TV with such a minimalist remote. If anyone have anything to add please let me know, because that is my biggest gripe with this product.

A TERRIFIC TV TO INVEST IN
What a great deal for a Samsung. TV reviewers like the Hisense and TCL brands but my old 65″ Samsung plasma is still going strong after 10 years! The picture is bright and superb the colors just pop out at you. Only tiny gripe I have is that it takes a few steps on the remote to switch inputs between TV, gaming or streaming there should be a quick back and forth button available. Other than that this TV rocks!!

EXCELLENT DELIVERY!
GREAT television Great Value. I was concerned with shipment (included) and arriving intact as returning a 75″ TY would be a nightmare. The packaging was incredible! Delivery team very sharp and called ahead. As for the TV – WOW – This is my 3rd Samsung and it is my go to. Go for the 240 as the processing speed is critical for sports viewing. Everything else is intuitive and the picture is incredible. This model was priced the same as Nebraska Furniture Mart but I had a $300 Amazon credit I could apply. Would do it again!

Slightly above average
Overall, TV is good and rate it above average. My biggest complaint is for the price they should not have cut corners. The onboard network card(LAN) is only rated for 100Mb/s and it should be standard at this point to have a 1Gb/s card installed. They are inexpensive parts. Not even going talk about its on board audio cuz everyone already knows built in speakers are trash. Picture quality, color, and brightness are great. Navigation through the menus is not difficult either.

This is our first TV purchase in about 10 years, and we’re absolutely blown away. We purchased the 85”, and the picture quality is phenomenal.
